"Ok class, you may pack up your bags and leave now. It was very nice having you children as my students. Hope you visit me next year!" said Hanitha ma'am, a very jolly and light-hearted science teacher. A second later, the whole 8th grade burst out of the class, screaming like a zoo of wild animals.
Rita stood by the door, serving the class as the monitor for the last time. She didn't know how to feel at this moment. A mixture of excitement, sorrow, and satisfaction was raging inside her like different types of lightning bolts striking against her stomach. Ever since that horrifying incident of the missing throne happened by her MOST trusted friend, she spent most of her time alone or with Dhiyana. She often misunderstood Dhiyana for being clumsy, gaudy, and bratty. But ever since that day back in September, when she was blaming Dhiyana for stealing the ancient throne, but suddenly realized that it was actually her most 'valuable friend' who did it, and that Dhiyana was actually the helper who guided her in solving the mystery, Rita realized that Dhiyana was actually the 'trustworthy one' in this incident. Ever since that time, Rita and Dhiyana had become best friends. Rita also learned many shocking facts about Dhiyana, such as the fact that Dhiyana's ancestors actually ruled the ancient kingdom of Hemajever.
Once all the students departed out of the class, Hanitha ma'am thanked Rita for being such a responsible and sincere monitor of her class. She shook hands with her and told her to keep up the good work. This made Rita all early, but luckily, she succeeded in holding her tears back. After Nishant left, Rita became the topper of all the subjects of her class. She just couldn't help it- she LOVED studying. She was sad to leave the school, but at least she had more time to do her other hobbies- like singing, dancing, drawing, exploring the world, and much more.
Dhiyana was waiting by the door, gesturing her to come quick. She said goodbye to Hemavati ma'am and left the school building. They started boarding their bus, which was bus no. 123 and sat in the last row, as usual. The last row was filled with bossy 10th graders, who spent their time gossipping throughout the bus.
"Hey, where do you think you're sitting? This place is only for 10th graders!" roared a tall 10-grade girl, while she pounced down on her seat.
"Whoa, calm down! It's the last day of school! Can't we just sit for ONE LAST DAY?" cried Dhiyana, a burst of rage firing inside her, face as red as a tomato.
After what seemed like a long time, the girl finally gave up, seeing Rita's sentimental face, she just couldn't help but feel sympathetic for her. But she had one condition- only if they answered her question, she would let them sit there.
"Oh god, what's your question?!" yelled Dhiyana, uncontrollably, still bright red.
"This is my question...what was the scariest nightmare in your life? I'm only asking this to Rita," she questioned, with sharp eyes glaring at Rita.
Meanwhile, in the front of the bus, the bus driver was about to drive the bus, when he suddenly saw Rita and Dhiyana standing still as a statue in the back of the bus. "Excuse me! How long does it take to sit on a seat?!" he scowled, acting like the forgery of an angry monster.
Rita tried her best thinking of an honest answer, but all she could think of was about that incident that happened all the way back in September last year. But time was running out, so she had said an answer right this moment.
"My worst nightmare was when Nishant betrayed us into thinking that he was an honest and kind-hearted student of Vidymati Pathshala. After that incident, I had dreams about him for a whole WEEK!" she told her with full truth, still trembling and feeling like a hundred books had been piled up on top of her.
