UMPISA

"MS. PADILLA, i am so sorry to say but our chemo is not working and it actually made your cancer worse." Malungkot na sabi ni Dra. Lacuesta.

"Alam ko naman yun dok. So ano kelan ang taning ko? 1 year? 6 moths?" Sabay tawa ng mamasa masang mata.

"Ms. Padilla, im sorry but, 20 days, and counting will start tomorrow." Sabi ni Doktora at nag buntong hininga.

Que?! 20 days! Lord, Isn't so fast?

"A-ah. Uhm sige Dok, mauuna na po ako." Waled out and wiped my tears.

I stopped in a playground nearby our highschool pond. Then remembered by bestfriend Ken. It's actually Zyrnth Gabriel but its his childhood nickname so i got used to it, right now, he is in Canada. I picked up my phone and called him.

"Ken..." Basa pa din ang mata ngunit nakangiting tawag ko.

"Hase, *sobs" My eyes widened when i heard him cry

Kaagad ko pinunasan ang mga luha ko.

"Anong nangyari Ken? Okay ka lang?" Worriedly i asked

" Si X-Xyza... nakipaghiwalay siya sakin...." He then continued sobbing in tears

I thought it was something important..

I now then lost interest on what he is saying...

"What's your plan?" Asked observing the children on slides while im swinging slowly.

"I'm going back to the Philippines..." I stilled,

After long 2 years, babalik na siya.

"Hey Hase, still there? " He sniffed.

"Huh? Ah yes. So, kelan ka aalis?"I asked.

"Im on the airport. Pick me up at 2 pm, See yah Mi. "

What?! 4 hours left? i haven't even prepared, gosh.

"Bye Di, take care."
