Shinra's POV>>>>

Ahh I finally found it this is where I'll be working now at the special fire cathedral number 8 this is so cool! I can't wait to fight and save other with my powers I hope they're ready to be saved though.

I never really heard of a eighth bridge before even though it's new it's pretty run down for it to be new....this may be a bit of a drag but I'll pull through I suppose... "if I'm gonna be on the force I'd rather be in the elite company 1."

"Shinra come here!"

"Uh Yes sir!" My goodness I hope he didn't hear me that wouldn't be very good I basically just complained in his face.....

"You think this place is run down huh?" Oh shit he did hear me and that scared me stiff and I broke out a sweat...

"N-no I swear!" I hope he believed that he didn't say much afterwards though so we are going to just leave it at that cause I don't want to keep it in the air....

And here we are and here's the captain. It he's upside down? Just what's his deal? "Um excuse me sir!"

"Oh hi there! I'm the captain of special fire force 8 akitaru obi!" So this is the captain huh? He was very lax and seemed chill to me but the other guys....I don't know about him....

"Takehisa Hinawa lieutenant of dipolmated old company 8." Uhhh yeah he scared me but but at least I now know his name...I guess.

But that all changed when I smelt a strong smell of vanilla and cinnamon blow by me that was a weird and oddly calming smell I never knew would smell good mixed together so I followed it and then my eyes widened when I seen where and who it was coming from.....

Her hair was past her knees her and a vibrant navy blue then all of a sudden the place around me go super slow and she just slowly turned around to me and waved her face....it was so pretty goddamnit.....my smile started to turn upside down into a smile when I seen her just when it couldn't get any worse she waved at me and I felt myself blushing at her.....

"Jaylin the meeting is in 20 minutes please be there on time!"

"Understood Takehisa I'll be wherever you order me to go!"

"Hey kid why are you smiling like that you look like a fool."

"Ahhh!!! I apparently have a habit of grinning whenever I get nervous or something happens to my face to make it tense up sir!"

"What?"

"I Umm I smile when I get nervous sir!"

"Ahh I see....so you smiled cause you got nervous around Jaylin huh? Ha I wouldn't be surprised she's a true beauty haha."

"W-who is she?"

"If I were to have a third ranking in this squad it would be her....but I'm not telling you go get the info yourself buddy."

"I-Umm ok sir."

Jaylin's POV>>>>

Oh wow that boy was kinda cute he must be new I hope he's around my age haha well guys this is me I'm Jaylin the girl with the blue flames and the passion for saving others! I always wanted to be a fire solider especially after discovering my power of my inferno hands saving lives and giving people hope is always what I wanted but I'm never really sure if I can do it....

I always seem to get rescued by either my captain or the lieutenant from almost dying while on missions I've never been able to kill a actual infernal but I do hope I'm able to soon.

Now it's time for the team 8 meeting I don't even know how I managed to do so but I was late running in after captain started doing his signature chant I felt really bad and started twiddling my thumbs and looking at my feet as Takehisa was about to scold me....

"Jaylin why are you late?" Takehisa said in a deep tone one that nearly scared me it if my boots!!!! Im not scared of Takehisa he's just scary when he's in meetings and is super serious....

Like right now....

"Uhhh Takehisa I got side tracked."

"By doing what Jaylin?" He pressed me for more information and I couldn't answer damn it I didn't want to say why I was late and why I was side tracked I didn't want to bring it up!!!!

But I nearly jumped out of my skin when I felt captain out his hand on my shoulder and I quickly looked up at him hoping and praying he wasn't going to scold me either for being late....

"Takehisa does it matter why she's late we weren't talking about anything anyways plus she gave me more time to lift we were doing much Jaylin don't be so hard on yourself for being late one time we were basically just talking about the new recruit meet Shinra Kusakabe a new second generation recruit." Thank god he wasn't angry with me but I gasped when I heard the guys name and ran in front of him excited to meet another person new!

"Oh so that's your name hello! I'm Jaylin hashirane! It's a pleasure to meet you!" I happily said even grabbing his hands and jumping up and down I'm super excited to meet him and now that I know his. And we can be friends I know we can!!!

But when I grabbed his hands I was confused why was he smiling like he wanted to attack me? Just what was the big deal?

"Uhhh Yeah....y-you too." Oh whatever if he hasn't attacked me yet then I'm safe I just chuckled and let him go smiling from ear to ear at him and even blushing a bit since I have such a cute boy in front of me again!

"I hope to work well with you so that way we can save as many lives as we can!"
