Exotic Love

Chapter 1 -

The March Break weekend had finally arived, I rushed home from school, ran up the two flights of stairs to my room and imediatly started to pack my suitcase, "Sarea!" I hear my mom calling from downstairs, "Yes?!" I reply eagerally, "The plane leaves in 2 hours, so hurry up and pack your bags!" Mom said. I didn't know what to say back, so I continue to pack my bags, suddenly my phone started to ring and vibrate, I jumped a bit, I look at the screen and answer it quickly, it was my bestfriend since..well.. forever! Raelynne. "Hey babe!" Raelynne said, "Hey Rae" I replied "are you excited for your trip to Australia? Hot boys, warm weather, beaches, no school and did I mention, hot boys?!" I laughed, Raelynne was all over the boys, even though she was currently dating someone, that would never stop her if she had the opportunity to strike, "Ha-Ha Rae, you're a funny one" I reply sarcastically "Im going for the beaches, and the inspiration for a new book im going to write." 'Oh riigghht" Raelynne said "You're the boring one of the two of us, im not even sure why were friends" She stated in the most sarcastic way possible "I mean c'moonn Sarea! you could get all the men with your body! you're 5'9 you've got long legs, magnificent green eyes, your long dark brown lucious hair! I mean you've got all the specifications for the perfect girlfriend!" "Yeah, now why don't you say that to the boys in our town!" - We live in a small town in Ontario Canada, called "Carlisle." - Raelynne paused for a mintue, then replied with " Shut up Sarea! and just accept the fact you're going to fall madly in love with some hunk in Sydney!!" "SAREA!" my mom yells from down the hall. "Hold up Rae, my moms calling," "Oo! Oo! Oo! Tell her I say hiii!" Raelynne blurted out, "will do" I replied. I throw my phone on my bed and quickly walked towards my door, opened it and jumped back to see my mom standing right infront of me. "Rae says hi" I say before my mom can edge any words in, "Hi Rae," she replies back. "Okay Sarea, I know that you want to talk to Raelynne, but you can talk to her when we get to Sydney, you need to finish packing because it takes us half an hour to get to the airport and you've already wasted just about half of it talking to Raelynne" she said "Finneee mom" I say as i turn back to walk towards my bed. I shut the door behind me and then walk over and pick up my phone and say into it "Hey Rae, I got to go, mom thinks im wasting to much time talking to you," "Oh sweetie, thats because you are! Call me when you get to Sydney! RaeRae out!" all I hear is the dial tone, and I laugh, i put my phone in my pocket and finish up the last of my packing.

I close my suitcase and rethink of what I packed, I was quite sure that I remembered everything when I hear a knock on the wall beside me, "Hey Sarea, don't forget your phone charger, the last time you did, you cried until mom went out and bought you a new one!" Says Jake - my little brother - through the wall. "Shut up Jake!" I replied, as I rushed to the table beside my bed, and unplugged it from the wall, and stuffed it inside my already full, Zebra print, suitcase.

I ran down the stairs, my suitcase clunking down behind me, once I got to the bottom of the stairs I put my suitcase down and walked to the door, and put on my red toms, and then looked in the wall mirror beside me, realizing what I looked like, I ran back up the stairs and into my room, slammed the door and then swiftly walked to my make-up table and quickly french braided my hair behind my head, After I finished, I ran back downstairs to find my suitcase already packed into the car. Im about to walk to the car, when I see Jake walking down the stairs and I scream "Shot Gun!" and race out to the car, I turn around just in time to see Jake curse under his breath, we both laugh "You can have it on the way back, I promise" I say, Jakes face lit up like a Christmas Tree. "Thanks Sare!" he replies, walking towards the front door.

We were sitting in the car for about 45 minutes when I see the airport out the front window of the car, I turn around and see Jake sleeping, I punch him in the knee and say "There will be plenty of time to sleep on the plane!" Jake just glares at me. We drive for a few more minutes and the we are in the Toronto International Airport parking lot, once mom parked the car, I hop out of the car and race to the trunk, I open up the trunk and rip out my suitcase from the bottom of the pile, knocking out everyone elses stuff. "Heeh, oops?" I say, while picking up Jakes and Moms suitcase. Jake hits me on the back of the head "Good job clutz" he says and my mom just shakes her head and laughs a bit. We walk into the Airport and it feels like home, we always travel. We walk over to the check-in areas, and we check-in our bags and ourselves, we put our bags on the bag collecter and we walk around to find our gate, Jake is first one to find it, he always is, so we walk over and take a seat and wait. About 3 minutes has passed and Jake asks "When are we leaving?" Mom looks at him and says "In about 5 minutes Jake, be paitent." Just like my mom said, 5 minutes later, the intercom beeps and says "Anyone getting on the 5:30 plane to Sydney, Austrailia, please make your way to the bording area now." So just as they said, we got up and made our way to the bording area, Mom takes out our passports and hands them to Jake and I. We take them and walk towards the airport workers and hand them our passports, and tickets, then they let us through, I was first, then Jake and then Mom, we all walk onto the plane together and find our seats, luckily we are first class, Mom was not going on a plane for 24 hours without first class seats. I find the seats and I sit down, Jake sits in his, and once his head hit the seat, he was fast asleep. I pull out my phone and plug in my headphones, I press play and hope that I have enough music to last me the whole flight.
