The unexpected Guest

All is well

Jo's POV

I wake up and turn to the side, Alex looks so peaceful when he sleeps so I leave him be and go make coffee.

My life right now is perfect, sure me and Alex where a little shaky for a little bit but we're fine now.

I never told him about my husband. And I don't ever want to unless I have to. Like I said my life was perfect.

I finish making breakfast for the both of us when Alex stats to wake up. "Hey sleepy head."

"Ugh why are you up so early?" Ah typical Alex never wanting to get up until that last minute.

"Come on I made breakfast." I tell him " Ok."

After we're done eating we finish getting ready and head to the hospital.

"I can't wait for my big surgery with Grey today I've never seen a tumor the size!" he's been talking about that kid's tumor for weeks and today they're finally taking it out.

"Good for you, you've been talking about that tumorr for a while." I say, "Today I'm on Torres' service, hopefully we find something good in the pit." "Hey should you be hoping that someone gets hurt just so you get to do a knee replacement?" he asks with a grin as we pull up to the hospital. "Oh please don't act like you've never searched the pit before." I say with a grin getting out of the car.

"Oh! I just remembered all surgical staff is supposed to meet on the stairs to meet our new chief." I say, "Oh ya, well I doubt whoever it is, is gonna be as good as Hunt." Alex says,  "Ya I kinda wish that He was staying chief. We don't even know anything abut who's about to take over." I say.

"Well I guess we'll find out soon." he says spotting Meredith as she comes over "Hey guys do you know anything about the new chief?" "Nope, nothing." I answer.

"Oh well, hey Alex after this is done do you wanna check on our star patient?" she says with magic sparkle in her eyes. "Wow you guys are really obsessed!" I say laughing, "It's all Alex has been talking about since you two have found it."

"Hush hush Hunts coming up." he says silencing us.

"May I have you attention please!"He yells as the whole room goes quite. "I am glad to introduce you to your new chief of surgery Dr. Paul Stadler!"
