{Performance}

Last night Dianne went home at around 10pm we all wished her goodnight before heading up to bed ourselves.

I tried convincing Dianne to let me walk her home but she wasn't having any of it. I'm sure she was alright though.

When I walk into the school with Jack and Conor we see a banner saying 'Dianne Buswell and Pasquale La Rocca performing here today! 10Am in the sports hall' with a image either side of their Quickstep and Samba. I snapped a quick picture before sending it to Dianne.

'Look at this 😊 Can't Wait to see you perform later ☺️❤️' I text her the image attached it doesn't take long before I receive a text back.

'Awe that's so sweet! I'm actually so nervous 😬 like more nervous than I was for BGT I don't know why 😂. We're getting ready to come in but dads asked Sandra to do my makeup because mums in work and he well don't even get me started 😂😅. See ya later xx'

Every time the 'xx' got me deep down and butterflies explode. It makes me all mushy inside.  The bell knocks me out of my trance and I walk to form.

"Okay guys as you know Dianne is coming in to perform with Pasquale I think they're doing three dances. A old one and then little spoilers of Sunday's dances for the final' Miss smith says smiling. She's got a very close bond with Dianne, I am oblivious to why because she's never taught her but they're always talking to each other.

"You don't go to period three after break, you wait in the canteen until your called into the sports hall, well it says on the banner sports hall but someone said about it being in the theatre because it's more room but just wait in the canteen and they will tell you where to go." We all nod and I check my time table.

"Oliiiii we miss maths YAYAY" I say excitedly he laughs at me before we turn our attention back to Miss smith.

(Dianne)
Me and Pasquale were behind the closed curtains the care taker was putting the props up that I use in the beginning and once he'd done it he told me to sit on it and he would slowly higher me up.

I could hear the buzz of everyone outside of the curtain, I could hear whispers and loud shouts from Mikey asking what he and Joe had next. It made me chuckle a bit.

"Okay everyone settle down" I hear miss greaves say and everyone immediately stops talking.

"Okay so I want you to all watch no talking. I'm quite nervous for two of the dances as I saw them in rehearsals earlier when they were setting everything up and to say the least. Wow. I'm going to stop rambling and let Dianne and Pasquale perform"  I hear the clinking of her heels before the curtains are drawn. I immediately look for the buttercream gang and see they're sat right in the middle on the left all excited.  When the music starts playing I put all my emotion into the dance and to say the least I loved it:

"WOOOOOOO" I scream as Dianne and Pasquale end there dance everyone was up on their feet clapping and cheering.

"Dianne and Pasquale that was amazing!!" Miss greaves says walking over Dianne is still breathing heavily "I've got a stitch" I hear her laugh as we all sit down.

"I've just been informed the stuff I told you earlier was just them practising for Sunday so they aren't actually showing you there dances for the final they're showing you two other previous dances. They're going to get in position it will only take five minutes then we will draw the curtain again" Miss greaves says as they both go behind and get read.

"They're like unbelievably good, I think they could win" Evie says.

"Oh yeah definitely. They could I saw one of the final dances last night Dianne FaceTimed me on the last run through and it looks dangerous" we laugh nervously.

"Although I don't know what dances these are"

Me and Alfie are still sat gobsmacked when the curtain draws once again to reveal Dianne and Pasquale on opposite sides they're still wearing the same outfits but there's new props.

"Here we go" I hear Alfie say I grip his hand tightly before the music begins:

"Wow they're doing the lift" I hear Alfie whisper as Dianne runs up and Pasquale lifts her.

"Wow" when the dance ends we're all cheering once again very loudly they take a bow before going back behind the curtain.

"Okay this is the last one. Have you liked it?" Miss greaves says and everyone shouts yes.

(Dianne)
'Here we go' I think to myself as the curtain draws for the final time and the music plays:

Everyone is cheering so loud they're literally unstoppable. "We wish you the best of luck for the final we will all be voting and watching good luck with you're two dances and the group dance!" Miss greaves exclaims Dianne and Pasquale smile as the exchange a quick hug before they're walking backstage and we're told to go to period 4.
