"MAMA WAKE UP!" (y/n) shouted as he jumped onto me, (y/n) and I had been living together for about two months now. At some point (y/n) began to call me Mama, I didn't mind it was actually really sweet. "Sweetie what's going on?" I asked as I sat up, "You promised to take me out hunting today." He said, "I did, are you sure you really wanna do this? You don't have to do this, remember what happened last time." I said causing a sad look to develop on his face, "Sweetie I didn't mean to upset you." I said as I hugged him, "Mama am I a burden?" He asked, "No, no why would you think that?!" I asked, "Well yesterday I heard someone say that I was a burden on you and that if I wasn't around you'd be doing far better than you are now." He said sadly, "Well I was hesitant to tell you this, but the Knights of the Blood Oath want me to join their guild and fight on the front lines with them." I said, "NO!" He yelled as he hugged me tightly almost as if he felt that if he let go that I'd leave him, "Honey I'll be ok I promise, but I wont join if two things aren't met first." I said, "Those two things are they have to agree to let you join as well, and you have to be ok with me joining." I said.
"That's it sweetie you can do it!" I said as (y/n) raised his sword, I was a good fifteen feet away, but even from here I could tell he was terrified by how much his sword was shaking, "MAMA!" He shouted in fear as the boar charged at him, I lunged at the boar and stabbed it before it could hit (y/n), "It's ok sweetie, you're ok." I said as I held him.
"Well Asuna I'm glad you and your son decided to join us." Heathcliff said, "I'm sorry, but I don't have a son." I said, "So that boy, (y/n) was it, he is not your son?" He asked, "No I just look after him." I said, "Ok Asuna tell me are you happy around him?" He asked, "Yes.", "Does he call you some variation of mother?", "Yes.", "Do you love him?", More than anything!". There was a few moments before either of us said anything, "I believe you have the answer as to your having a child." He said.
"Mama where have you been?" (y/n) asked, "Oh nowhere important sweetie." I said as I picked him up and gave him a kiss on the cheek, "M...Mama you've never done that before." He said, "Well I'm your mother right? And mothers give their children kisses and all the love they could ever want." I said, "Mama." He said as he hugged me, "Oh and mothers get to make decisions for their kids. Which is why I joined the guild and they let you in as well." I said, he began to tremble, "Don't worry you won't be on the front lines. There's a special unit for players like you. The players who are too scared to fight on the front lines, however since you're so young they'll be training you and building your confidence." I said, "BUT I DON'T WANT SOMEONE ELSE TO TRAIN ME! I WANT YOU TO TRAIN ME MAMA!" He yelled, "Oh sweetie, the woman who will be training you is supposed to be very nice, she helps lots and lots of people." I said, "But I want you to train me." He said, "I've been trying, but you get scared too easily and when you get scared you expect me to come save you. But sweetie I wont always be there to save you, I just want you to try this and if it doesn't work I'll start training you again." I said, "Ok." He said.
(y/n) POV
"Hey sorry I'm late!" A woman said as she walked over to me, "You must be (y/n), I'm Sky I'll be your new instructor." She said, "During your time with me you will learn some skills, level up, get new gear, take on small quests, and you'll even earn your own money. How does that sound?" She said, "It's ok I guess." I said softly, "What do you mean?" She asked, "It's just I was hoping my mama was going to train me." I said, "Oh I see. Well just think, how happy will your mom be when she sees how much you've improved." She said, "Shall we get started?" She asked as she equipped something and walked in front of me so I had to look at her.

"Shall we begin sweetie." She said, I nodded, "Well let's start easy, equip your sword and let's do some practice drills." She said.
