hopeful

the day goes by

and if my friends say hi

then i consider it succesful

the night comes to unite

and if my friends say goodnight

then i can go to sleep hopeful

that my life is great

i have nothing to fear

compared to most i am privledged

and i always make sure to remember that

and everyday and night i am hopeful

that the next will be just as good
