True friend

You've been there for me since day one

We sang out of tune just for fun

I used to remember all the time spent

Laughing at stories like it made no sense

A few years later we both grew up

I can no longer see the sight of you

Without each other, it wasn't the same

Despite that, your name was tattood inside my brain

I decided to forget you and focus on my life

Until I saw you again

We said hi

Unexpectedly, I felt a sense of unconditional love

You may have grown but your heart has not changed

Unlike my other so-called friends, you stayed true to yourself

I thank God that he gave me a friend like you

A friend who truly accepts me for who I am

And a friend who makes me happy
