[No One's P.O.V]

That following Monday, the two boys acted like nothing ever happened between them that Saturday. They didn't say anything or mention anything about it either.

Coming into school, they just smiled at each other, and sat down.

❝homecoming is coming up in two weeks...❞ Freddie gazed at both of the boys, who all didn't look interested at all.

❝-and who cares?❞ Brian lifted a brow. ❝I care! I really just want to go because of the free food.❞ Freddie admitted, smiling madly.

John rolled his eyes, ❝all we do there is just see who's the homecoming king and queen, eat, and leave, really.❞

❝we also dance.❞ Freddie said. ❝as much as I like to jive and jig, homecoming is not worth my time dancing to their lame music.❞ John confessed, crossing his arms across his chest.

❝well, can we at least go with Roger?❞ Freddie looked at John, putting a hand on his hip. ❝he hasn't gone with us to homecoming-, or prom-, or whatever it is...❞

❝I mean, yeah sure. But I was just saying, I'm not dancing this year. Maybe next year. But not this year.❞ John sighed.

❝ok.❞ Freddie blinked, ❝there was literally nothing wrong with not dancing Deaks. You can be like Brian's twin this year—who sits with his punch at a table all alone—and just chill with him.❞

❝you don't do anything at homecoming?❞ Roger asked Brian, furrowing his eyebrows. ❝nah,❞ Brian shook his head, ❝I admit it's pretty boring.❞

❝well actually, Roger,❞ Freddie butted in the conversation, ❝Brian is a pretty boring person. That's why he finds everything boring.❞ Freddie laughed.

Roger glanced at Brian and started chuckling.

❝he asked out a girl that he liked for two years, but when the dance came up, all he did was be his boring self and not dance with her.❞ Freddie told, ❝then after the dance she said to him: 'you lame bastard! You don't love me!'.❞

❝ok, you didn't have to bring that up.❞ Brian looked at the ceiling, slowly getting annoyed, ❝you're probably acting like this because you've never asked out your real crush yet.❞

The whole table fell silent.

❝damn...❞ John mumbled, ❝that's tough.❞

❝I was just fucking around with you!❞ Freddie's eyebrows furrowed with fury, ❝sheesh! Quit taking things so seriously!❞

sure, it was a joke...❞ Brian sarcastically said, smiling. ❝it was!❞ Freddie huffed. ❝yeah, whatever.❞ Brian's eyes gazed around the refectory.

❝oh my fucking god-...❞ Freddie wiped his face in frustration and anger. ❝Freddie, calm down.❞ John grabbed Freddie's wrist, pulling the older student closer to him.
