I picked it up and worker came up to me, "No one wants it." I looked at her, "What?" She pulled it off the rack, "It's a 1950s dress that no one wants." She lines it up with my body, "Here take it."
I take it in my hands and thank the lady. She just walks away, I look around the rack to see where she went but she's gone, "Weird-" Max cane behind me, "Ready?" I turn around, "Yeah"
It takes them a bit to pay but then we walk out. The thing didn't beep since I didn't pay for it but it's fine, "Guys? How far away is the dance?" El thinks for a bit, "In a week." I nod. We all split up and I run the the blockbuster still holding the dress, "Welcome to blockbuster- oh you go on in." One of my sisters coworkers says and opens the back door, I burst in to see robin and another girl talking, she doesn't notice me until I clear my throat.
"Oh Mia. Yeah go into your hideout." I start walking there, "Is my walkie talkie there?" She nods and I duck to make it in there.

This is my room, Robin and I snuck me out of the house since dad was abusive towards me. No one has been in here before. Except me.
I picked up my phone and called will, he answered right away, "This is Will." I smile at hearing his voice, "Hey will, it's Mia." You could hear that he got excited, "Hey! So you wanna go to my house real quick." I pause thinking, "I'm pretty sure I can free sometime."

I look at the scenery around me, taking in the green trees before they turn orange and red. It's not that I don't like fall, it's just Hawkins has the most beautiful trees when they are green.
