The way to the squeedily speech is through an Irkens mouth. Naturally born smeets are legit birthed out of an Irken's mouth. If the Irken child is a hybrid (it also depends on what type of species it is, if the Irken is defected, or some other circumstances,), it temporarily changes the insides of the Irken parent so that the smeet comes out of... somewhere else.
