Droplets of water quickly poured down from the sky, falling from large, dark clouds that seemingly engulfed everything above. The atmosphere was tense, solemn one could say; lands only being dimly lit by a bright moon who's shine just slightly made it's way through the dark grey, almost black storm clouds. The stench of dampness filled the air, and The Magikin despised this pugnant smell in particular. The fact that he were traversing through woodlands made it no better.

He had no problem with the woodlands themselves, but It only added to the horrid stench.

Cedrych's travels, his search for King Eron's daughter, it lead him to a moderately sized village by the name of Stonehaven, a good ways away from his starting point, and if one were to ask how he got there, he would simply tell them he followed the strong scent, or at least strong to his senses, of lavender and lilywhites, as well as other mistakes made by The King's daughter that only the best of tracker's would sense. Which was entirely true. Albeit now...that scent dulled, it had been for a while now, yet Cedrych was still able to slightly sense it, and those mistakes lessened. Either she was getting better at keeping her presence unknown to those searching for her, he was nearing her, or something far worse, Cedrych thought.

The scent of lavender and lilywhites had been one of The Magikin's prime ways of tracking this heir to the Ainavlysnart throne, one of the best leads he was given by Eron. "She loves to smell of Lavender and Lilywhites." Said Eron to Cedrych. "Perhaps you can start there, if this information is of any use."

Truth be told, The Magikin didn't think this simple scent would get him as far as it did. But, he was thankful for it. "The nose knows" his master always liked to say. Though now, with this rain? The scent was completely gone, washed away by the precipitation. Luckily, Cedrych had been led to Stonehaven by said scent before the smell diminished. More than likely, she remained here for a night or two for some rest, before recommencing her travels, or escape more like.

First he would need to ask around, likely at the cost of a few coins, but that was fine. He would be paid more than what he could ever lose, if he was to find King Eron's daughter unharmed that is. Something The Magikin was very confident he would accomplish. The male slowed his horse, Cafè, to a halt as he approached the guarded gates to the Village of Stonehaven. Mainly because the guards motioned him to stay where he was. "Hold yer horses!" shouted an Archer, who had been positioned atop the village's border gates, more or less a protective wall of stone that spread itself across the entirety of the village in a whole.

Cedrych looked up towards the man who commanded him, raising his eyebrow as he did so, wondering as to why he had been stopped, considering he just saw another pass into the village undisturbed. Rain finally fell onto the Magikin's face as he exposed it, his features being protected by a large hood until recently. Truthfully, Cedrych wished to get out of this rain as fast as possible, he despised the rain. And he also despised wasting time, and right now, he felt as if his time were being wasted. "What is it?" He spoke up, his stern voice penetrating through the silence. And he soon received a response from the Archer, who was more than likely the Captain of The Guard.

"Your weapons.." as he said this, he motioned to the many blades sheathed and holstered on Cafe's side. Which would consist of two longswords on the left side of the stead, a shortsword on that same side, a broadsword on the other, multiple daggers, and a halbard just near Cedrych himself, all so obviously mastercrafted, all so obviously having seen their fair share of combat. "Your battle mount.." spoke the Archer once more, referring to the giant, sturdy hulk of what should be a horse, though it seemed as if Cafè were another animal entirely. An exquisite breed Cafe was, an old secret of the Magikin Order. Battle hardened as well, Cedrych couldn't ask for a better companion than her. "Your armor.." said the Archer, analyzing the black and silver armor the Magikin wore. It looked light, a mix of what one would call "true" armor and a leather like material, which cleary wasn't leather at all. It looked light, yes..yet with just one glance, you could tell it would block just about any blade, repell any beasts attempt at an attack, and break any bolt that wished to dare try and penetrate it. Crafted by a true master worker, similar to the blades.

"And last but not least, ye yourself..you've piercing red eyes and slit pupils, resembling that of a beast, abnormally dark black 'air, a shade of 'air i've not seen on even the fairest of maidens. And you's skin, it's brown..you're not from around here are ya'? An O'sari?" Asked the Archer. "I just want to make sure ye aren't a threat 'tis all." Cedrych sighed, he knew his appearance was unsettling to others, not just because of the transformation given to him by his Magikin evolutions, but because he knew people here had more than likely never seen an O'sari in person. His people liked to keep to themselves.

Yet he still felt as if his time were being wasted. And he didn't want this to continue any longer than it had to.

He just wished to leave himself of the rain.

And locate the nearest tavern in doing so.

So simply, he told the man one thing, responded with something that would have him let in the quickest. Something this man, and all the other guards had failed to see, though it did usually take some time to register within the minds of others.

Simply shifting in his saddle, cracking his neck and sighing: Cedrych responded.

"I'm a Magikin."
