Spring Break With Luke Bryan

Introduction ~ Chapter 1

"Bella are you almost ready to go?" My best friend screamed from outside my dorm window. I was tempted to scream back a not-so-nice 'shut up!' but decided against it.

I quickly finished putting on my mascara and grabbed all my bags I had set next to the door earlier. Before I left the room I quickly looked around to make sure I didn't forget anything.

Once everything on my mental checklist was checked off I grabbed my iPhone and ran out the door with my bags, of course locking the door behind me.

Emma, my best friend, was already waiting in the jeep with the top down and her bags in the back. I threw my bags into the back too and jumped into the passenger seat. We cranked up the radio to The Highway on Sirius XM and took off.

"PANAMA CITY BEACH HERE WE COME!!" Emma screamed as we pulled out of the parking space.

We passed the Georgia Southern entrance sign just a few seconds later and soon enough we were on the main road that would take us to paradise in Florida!

"Oh my lord. Emma. I can't wait to see Luke Bryan perform tomorrow!" I screeched in my seat as he came on the radio with 'Crash My Party'. It's an older song but his latest album came out in August of last year so there really was nothing else newer.

"I bet his ass looks better in person!" Emma squealed and almost started drooling.

We both looked at each other and burst out laughing.

"Okay, okay. So what's our plan this week?" I asked her. She's the one who really put all of this together, except I'm the one who figured out all the Luke details. (Except that didn't take much because I'm such a big fan I could probably be on the level of stalking, without actually stalking.)

"Tomorrow we see Luke perform then go out on the beach. The rest of the night we can just chill. Then on Wednesday we see him perform again and basically the same plans as Tuesday. Then on Thursday we can do whatever, and on Friday we can head back to the college." Emma explained to me and I took it all in as she explained it.

"Perfect! Because I have a book report that's due in a week that I haven't bothered starting yet." I told her and we both started laughing. College is a ton of fun, don't get me wrong, but the work load is pretty crazy too.

"Are you planning on getting drunk this week?" Emma asked me.

"I'm not sure. It depends on the cute guys there. Luke's only a couple years older than us so maybe I can work something out with him." I responded to her, winking at the end.

"In your dreams, Bella. In your dreams."

If only we knew what would be happening that week...
