This book of poetry is dedicated to my mother. It was her that planted the writing bug in me. She used to write poetry all the time and I wanted to be just like her so I started writing poetry too.
Over the years, it became my way of coping with my emotions. Whenever I was upset, I'd write it down into a poem. I put this book together of some of the poems I've written for my mother, and anyone else interested in reading.
You should be aware though, I write a lot of poems that contain sensitive subject matter like parental abandonment, sexual assault, self harm, suicide, mental illness, and other things that might be triggering to some. So proceed with caution, please.
