By now I had tears in my eyes. I felt betrayed... I thought they trusted me. I turned away from the door and started running down the hallway, my footfalls loud enough to hear. The door to the office behind me opened. "Hey! Who-" Roselyn shouted but I was out of ear shot by the time she could have finished.

I ran all the way outside back to Cam. Seeing my tears lead him to instantly wrap me in a hug. "Jason... Babe... what's wrong?" He asked, worry in his voice. "I want to get out of here." I said trough my tears. "Cam... I want... to go home." I sobbed.
---
We went back to our room and Cam sat me down on my bed. "What happened?" He asked. "They... they don't trust me." I muttered. "They went to the tree! And they think thats i'm somehow messing with its magic." I exclaimed. "They lied and told me they were just going to Everlyn." I added. A gultily look crossed Cams face. "Cam?" I asked, rasing an eyebrow. "Jason... I..." Cam started. "What?" I asked quietly. "I knew about where they were going." Cam said, looking at the ground. "W-what? Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, hettong more upset. "Jason... Roselyn asked me not to tell you. And I agreed." He said. "You don't trust me do yo-" "it's not that I don't trust you. I do trust you. I didn't tell you because I care about you. I know how stressed you've been lately. I didn't want to add to your stress. I'm sorry." Jason said. I let out a sigh. He was right. I have been stressed. "Come on. We're going home." I said as I started packing my things.

As Cam and I were packing there was a knock on the door. "Jason? Jason we need to talk." Said the voice on the other side of the door, it was Roselyn. "No." I said in reply. "Jason... please?" She asked. "I said NO!" I shouted at the door. Haveing had enough I grabbed the few bags we hand packed then I grabbed Cams hand burst out the door, right past Roselyn. "Jason! Wait!" She called out. "Why!? Why should I wait?!" I asked in frustration as I contuied to walk. "Because I need to talk to you. Please let me explain!" She said as she started tp walk after us.

I broke out into a run dragging Cam behind me. "Just leave me alone!" I yelled at Roselyn. She started running after us. "Jason Please!" She called. I slammed open the door leading outside. I let go of Cams hand and took off into the sky. Flying as fast and as high as I could. I stopped in midair and lppked below me. The Acdamey was so tiny... so far away but what caught my eye was a figure approaching. A girl with white angel wings. She flew up amd hovered infront of me. "Jaso-" "Roselyn! Please just leave me alone. I get it! Ok? I know you don't trust me... But you chould have at keast told me where you were going. If you would have told me where you were going I would have understood why you wanted me to stay at the academy. I would have willingly stayed." I explained.

"Jason, i'm sorry, I just-" She started but I cut her off. "I'm leaving. Whether you like it or not." I said as I crossed my arms over my chest and started to lower myself in the air. "Wait!" She said suddenly causing me to stop. "What?" I asked as I shot her a look. She let out a breath.

"I want to take you to the tree."
