William stared to the side, blonde hair frazzled as he sat with the camera facing him. He had a sharp jawline and high cheekbones. He wore his usual Spider-Man hoodie, and was sitting at the desk in his apartment bedroom, exposing his half-made twin bed and his Iron Man poster that hung on his wall. William quietly scratched at his eyebrow, where he had a healed scar cutting through it.
"Is it on?" He asked. His aunt gave him a thumbs up and he immediately snapped back to face the camera, brushing his hair back with one hand. He grimaced at the camera.
"Whatever, we can edit it. Take one in three...two...one..."
He cleared his throat, then smiled charmingly, his brown eyes staring into the screen.
"Good morning...or, evening. Whatever. My name is William P. Cadmann, and this is my Intro film."
He looked off camera at his Aunt, who motioned for him to keep going.
"Anyways, a bit about myself. I am a Freshman in High School, and my school is in Manhattan, New York. I live with my Aunt and my Uncle in an apartment...but, we're comfortable."
The noise of a dog barking was heard through the wall, and Will turned to look in that direction. He smiled nervously.
"Um...just the neighbors."
He paused for a moment, looking down at his lap, where he had written notes. He read off the next one, then turned to the camera.
"My favorite thing to do on the weekends is watch Marvel movies with my Aunt and Uncle. I...uh..play lacrosse and do band, and I'm a straight A student. I am a super Marvel fan, if you couldn't tell."
He paused for a moment, looking down and brushing hair out of his face.
"Oh yeah! I, uh, wear glasses for seeing far away, like in class. And this is my dog, Shadow."
He grabbed the camera and lowered it to the ground, where a little black shorkie puppy was playing with an orange ball. The dog didn't look over when William scratched his head.
He pulled the camera back onto the tabletop and repositioned it.
William took a deep breath, inhaling deep then exhaling fast.
"Wow, this is bad..."
"Want to end it, hun?" His Aunt asked.
"No, no, wait. I want to tell them why I'm filming," William said, putting his hands towards the camera when his Aunt moved to turn it off. He sighed when she moved away, letting him continue.
"The reason I made this is because you are now in charge of my life. You make my life what it's going to be. I could be a social worker, just a stressed student, a superhero, or whatever comes to mind! Just, please let me make some good friends. And let me have an exciting life. Now that you're in charge of it, please let me have some fun, m'kay? That's all I'm asking of you...well, whoever watches this. So do your best, or whatever."
"So, this is the last time I'm going to be in charge of my life. So, here are my rules. Don't make anything NSFW, please," he emphasized on the 'please.'
"But you can make it a bit gory as long as it's for the greater good."
His aunt punched his shoulder, making William smirk a bit.
"He has the strangest sense of justice. When he was 12, he got into a fist fight because someone drew on another kid's locker," his aunt said, laughing.
"Yep. Guilty."
"Anyway, another thing is my parents. When I was 6 or 7, my parents and I got in a car crash with a drunk driver. I was in the backseat and wasn't affected as much, but my parents...well, they didn't make it."
William sighed.
"That's why I have a scar above my eye, tho. The window had shattered, and a fairly large piece of glass got stuck right there. I think it's kind of like a luck charm, although I don't know if it's good or bad yet. Y'all decide!"
"Well, this is William P. Cadmann, signing off."
He nodded and waved to the camera, giving it a charming smile before it shut off.
