so he thought long and
hard on
the moment.
his palms were sweaty and his heart
was beating fast. he closed
his eyes and put his
arms to the
side of his body. she was standing behind her window
with a grin
the size of an apple.
"just leap," if it was only
that simple. his heart was beginning
to slow down and he moved
on to the sill of his window.
"i'll catch you, i promise."
and he believed her. because she was all he
was certain he could believe in.
he leaped. and in those moments he felt free.
free from his house and free from
everything but her.
