But her, a dumb, Intrigued 20 year old girl was fascinated by the handsome man that entered her village late one evening . Astoria's sister, Lexi, begged her not to get herself wrapped up in a wealthy man," Men who comes from power and money want nothing but your body. " she warned. She wanted nothing more than happiness for Astoria. A long, happy life with a beautiful husband and cute little children. A long life indeed, 350 years to be exact. It was sometime in 1681, if her memory serves right. It was a dark, cold night when Kol Mikaelson came to visit her. He had informed her of his families departure that was to come later that week. She was heartbroken and scared of being alone, so she begged him to feed her his blood, and so he did. Kol would do anything to get under his brothers skin, absolutely anything, including turning the love of his life into a great beast. It was never the woman's intention, finding out about Niklaus and his siblings, but when she stumbled upon them feasting on a man in the woods, she promised she'd not spill a word. She heard the stories of Klaus, she had even checked up on him over the years, but he never knew the future her life had to hold.

As for her sister, she fell terribly sick and she wanted to help her. When she found out her blood could heal her, she immediately jumped to the task. That night, when she was out, vampire hunters came to the village and killed almost everyone, including Lexi. Due to her blood being in her system, she jumped straight back up. She felt betrayed by the lies Astoria had hidden from her for so long, but since then, her and Astoria spent years together until Logan Fell took her life to take the heat off himself.

The rumours were still unclear on exactly what had happened in their village. Some liked to gossip and say the vampire who feasts on vampires attacked, searching for The Mikaelson's. Whilst others just put it down to hunters.

350 years Astoria spent yearning for his love and affection. 350 years of the feeling of being betrayed by him. Klaus never even bothered to wish her a fair well, leaving the girl bitter and heartbroken.

All rights are to the Vampire Diaries creators. I'm simply a fan writing my ideas into the storyline. I don't own any of the characters or plot, all I own Is the characters that are not in the show :)

Uploading will be inconsistent due to work schedule, so please understand there may be times when I don't upload for some time. It's all quite unedited so if there's parts that don't make sense or sort of contradict one another, please understand I have no edited it, and I've began a rewrite of some chapters.
