Hi my name is Alice I am from Southampton and today I am going on holiday to a place called the Isle of Sheppey in Kent. I am so excited to go on holiday. I had woken up at seven this morning because I am so excited we had been sorting out the last few bits to get ready to leave around half one and once that time came around it was time to go it was a three hour journey at least to get there. We had been on the road for a while but we had to stop at a service station because we were hungry and needed to stretch our legs for being in the car for so long. After having something to eat we went back on the road all the way to the Isle of Sheppey. We were getting closer to where we were staying then we came round this corner and saw this huge bridge and I loved it. It was so cool and when you were on the bridge the view was amazing. We got over the bridge and we saw a farm shop and a few other places on the way to the holiday park. We were getting closer now because we came past a sign saying we were only one mile away from Harts holiday park. When we got there it was amazing you could see the sea, we were in this little town on the Isle called leysdown-on-sea it was lovely there.
After we had checked in to go to our caravan we had got to our caravan B72 and we unlocked the door and it was amazing in there I loved everything thing. We then unpacked and sorted all of our stuff out by the time we had done that and had something else to eat we went down to the club house it was now round about six o'clock and there was a show called the Krazy Krew and we watched that it was amazing for small kids and other ages as well you could win prizes and there was a lot of dancing involved but it was great. After Krazy Krew they had Linked up Bingo which was really fun to watch and hear all of the rules and regulations and just see how many false claims there were. After bingo we went back to the caravan had hot chocolate and then went to bed.
That was the first day of our holiday and I was already loving it so so much.
