Chapter 3: Can You Show Me? {Rhys}

Start from the beginning

We continued walking and after a while, we where finally finished with out ice creams.

"So, do you want to go on some rides now? Or do you wish to play some carnival games?" I asked Rhys

He ponders for a moment before finally responding to me with his answer.

"Let's go to these rides you speak of" Rhys says

"Ok, let's go over to the one over there" I say point over to a ride called: The Stratosfear

"That ride looks interesting, what does it do?" Rhys questioned

"It swings everyone on the ride in the air and it spins, it's suppose to be a little scary. But i'm not so sure. I never been on it myself" I say

"Well, let's go" Rhys says walking towards the Stratosfear

Once we got there the line was surprisingly short, so we got on the ride straight away as we arrived.

Me and Rhys sat next to eachother and we where strapped down to the ride so we wouldn't fall off.

The ride began and no one was really scared, not until we started spinning and going around and around.
I was surprised, but I wasn't really screaming or scared.

I looked over to Rhys, who was full of amazement, he looked joyful.

Once the ride was over Rhys looked to me like a happy energetic little child.

"That was surprisingly fun" Rhys said a little more happier

"You thought so?" I questioned

"It made you feel like you where going to fly off the ride any moment, when the ride makes you feel like that, it makes me think of magic" Rhys explained

"I guess you can say that" I laughed awkwardly

We walk in silence for a few moments until we get towards the carnival games.
I glanced to Rhys and I saw him staring at the carnival games, just full of curiosity.

"You wanna check out the carnival games?" I asked

Rhys stared at me raising an eyebrow.

"Carnival games?" Rhys asked questioningly

I nodded and started dragging him to the carnival games.
There was many to chose from! Like for example: The rigged carnival games!

Just by looking at them I can tell they are rigged, like the milk bottle one.
I just glared at the game. Since even with my magic powers, I couldn't win at them.

Rhys saw me glaring at the booth.

"Why are you glaring at it? Is it evil?" Rhys questioned

"You can say that, that game is impossible to win" I muttered

"Impossible to win? What do you mean?" Rhys questioned

"Well, you see... you have to throw a ring and land it on the neck of the bottle. But  one of the milk bottles is heavier than the others, so it's impossible to hand it on any of them. Depending on how the bottle is, will determine if the player will win" I explained

"Can't you use your magic? You are a powerful sorcerer princess" Rhys shot me a questioning glance

"Even with my magic I can't win. I can't predict where the right bottle is. Also, it would be kinda illegal if I use my magic in public like this" I mumbled

Rhys then wonders towards the bottle game, WHAT IS HE DOING!?!

"Hello sir, could I try this game out?" Rhys questioned
