New York was in chaos. A strange aircraft had been spotted over the Atlantic Ocean. Newscasters were reporting that it would reach New York City in three hours.
The ship made landfall in Central Park. Over its intercom, the invaders announced their peaceful notions to the public. It was too late. The military had arrived and was opening fire on the ship. Soon enough, three more ships had appeared on the horizon. They rained missiles onto the citizens and military of New York.
Meanwhile, the same situation was unfolding in Tokyo, Ontario, Las Vegas, Shanghai, London, Rio de Janeiro, and every other major city across the globe. People took up arms against them. Nuclear strikes were called. War had broken out, and both sides were suffering.
New warships arrived every day, and after 12 years of battle, the people were forced to surrender.
In return, the aliens, known as the Exalteds, gave them light speed, hover, and laser tech. They also enhanced soldier, creating Exceeds, the perfect soldier. The Exceeds had better strength, speed, and accuracy than any human soldier could ever wish for. Additionally, they all each had a special attribute of their own, creating a diverse group of supersoldiers.
Not everyone was happy, however. Rebels still instigated fights with Exalteds. People would kill Exceeds and leave their bodies in public areas; they believed that Exceeds were nothing but pets and experiments to the Exalted.
The world was in chaos, and it is up to everyone to fix it together. If they could cooperate.
