P.O.V: Husband-

Two P.M. My wife never sleeps in this late. She's always up before 10 A.M. She never sleeps in, but I can't go check on her. I'm at work, have to make the money for the lifestyle she craves so badly. Yet, I can't stop my brain from wandering off. She always texts me as soon as she wakes up. Maybe I should try to call her. Maybe, just maybe she forgot. Which doesn't seem possible. In the 10 years we've been married, she has never forgotten to call or text when she wakes up. I can't think of any reason she would start now.

P.O.V. Wife-

Its two P.M. and I haven't texted my husband. I woke up next to someone else after a long night and I am too afraid to even consider talking to him.

P.O.V. Wife-

After years of trying to get better from the trauma, I still have self inflicted marks. I never want him to know what he did, it's in the past, right? It doesn't matter anymore. I'm tired of remembering the way his touch gave me a boost. Tired of the way his smile would light me up. Jake. Jake was the one person I loved. I remember during every single fight I would scream that I loved him when he asked why we don't just break up. I'm with Matt now. Married for a year. Things have been great. We get along. I can't tell Matt about Jake now. I cannot let him know about how Jake made me feel. This "new" dress was given to me from from Jake. The last piece I have from him. Matt hasn't said anything about it. Nor has he said anything about the scars. My heart feels so empty, but I am trying so hard to not think about it. I would probably breakdown if Matt said anything. I physically cannot explain Jake. Trying so hard to force the feelings for Matt. This morning, I woke up next to Jake. What do I do now? Tears keep stinging my eyes and I can't keep blinking them away.

P.O.V. Boss-

While talking about pie charts and how we all can improve, Rachel blurts out "you have a lovely smile, you should do it more." I immediately get so flustered. I start to blush. Thinking of the countless nights of holding her in my arms. The flashbacks of how her lips against my skin felt. I poliently say "thank you, but can we please get back on track" I turn towards the screen that everyone is looking at behind me. If it got out that I had anything with one of my employees I would be ruined. Completely and utterly destroyed. Eventually the meeting finishes. She comes up to me and I can't help but feel like it was all my fault. I lost her, but maybe she wants me to express these emotions. Maybe, just maybe she isn't over me like she keeps telling me she is.
