I glared at the demons as they passed me one by one, heads held high with pride. In all honesty, I was envious of them. I wanted to join them, to be like them, but I wasn't allowed to be a part of them. Maybe it was because I was a female demon, perhaps it was because I was still the youngest, at the age of 16 years. Or maybe it was because I was half human, a half-Temporal, whose secondary form was just an ordinary human. Some scowled viciously or looked down at me with disgust with a hint of arrogance as they passed. I didn't make eye contact with any of them and just kept my mouth shut. What they didn't know was that I was going to prove that I was worthy enough to be a mighty demon. I had one advantage over the higher demons. I could travel between this world, Akumtundra, and the human world, so I was a high school student during the daytime and a demonic creature by night. I knew a lot more about the human world and how death and people of wrongdoing affected the innocent. My experience in the world of humans also helped me formulate my master plan of gaining dominance in not only that society but Akumtundra, too. I planned to leave at night and initiate my plan. No one would notice, I would be prepared, and everything would happen quickly and smoothly. However, I was everything but prepared for what would actually happen on Earth.
