Description

The Hart family was looking for tiger cats online. Then one day, one showed up at their back door.

This is the perfect gift for your children and grandchildren.

Preface

Hi. I am Krystal Hart and I'm going to tell you a story about how my family got our angel kitty, Bella. It’s going to be told from two points of view, hers and mine.

Enjoy! :)

Chapter 1 - The Year is 2033 Krystal

My family and I live in a time with the most advanced technology. We now have vehicles that drive themselves using navigation systems. We just verbally say where we want to go and they take us there. They drive on roads with tracks so they can’t go into the wrong lane. They can also leap over obstacles just by pushing a button. Besides that, the roads are made with a special material so in the winter, snow melts as soon as it hits. Having these features has reduced the rate of accidents tremendously.

We can also teleport from place to place. It is a free service mainly for people who are physically and mentally challenged and for senior citizens. There is a monthly charge for anyone who travels long distances for work, vacations, etc. since airplanes no longer exist.

There are Teleporting Centers everywhere for us to apply.  They implant a microchip in our left arm which tracks where we go and how often we teleport. Then we are given a wristband with a small touch screen that is linked to the microchip to navigate where we go.

We are given so many miles to travel based on our circumstances and if we run out, we have to wait until next month to start again.  There are restrictions, because if everyone was allowed to teleport every time they wanted to go somewhere, it would be a disaster. It would cause massive collisions in the atmosphere.

We live in smart houses that we call SHAINE, (Smart House Artificial Intelligence Network Enterprise).  You can request a male or female voice, and they assist us through voice command. SHAINE can alert us with daily reminders, dial phone numbers of people we want to call and has an intercom system.  SHAINE also acts as a security system. There is a camera outside the front door and when people arrive, SHAINE lets us know who is there.  It then unlocks the door and lets them in.

Each household also has a live-in robot, a Carebot, that helps with the cooking, cleaning, getting groceries, etc. He or she looks very human-like with one exception. They have a blue tattoo on their right arm that is shaped as an infinity symbol with the letters C and B, meaning Carebot, inside the loops. They were created to have a personality and emotions just like we do. Age-wise, they resemble someone in their thirties. They are routinely maintained every month by Carebot technicians to make sure they run properly. Our technician is Leo Kessler. He is 24 years old, has black hair and brown eyes. He also maintains our smart house.

Chapter 2 - Our Family

Krystal

I live with my parents, Ella and Ryan Hart and our Carebot, Kaitlyn in a gated community called Evania Estates in Evania, Pennsylvania. It’s an area that has a park and many shops close by.

We live in a four bedroom, three bath ranch house that has an indoor pool and a movie theater for all of us to enjoy.

I am 26 years old, not very tall, have short blond hair and blue-green eyes. I have spastic cerebral palsy which was caused during birth. It prevents me from having full use of my legs and right arm. It also affects my balance, so I use a power wheelchair to get around.  It’s a Peryton 5000. The seat, arms and back are black and the base is painted lavender. It has five speeds, one being the slowest and five being the fastest. It also has a few cool features. The seat can recline back and can be raised 12” high so I am able to reach things that are too high, such as books on a book self or groceries in a store. It has turn signals and four-way flashers too. One of my favorite features is how, just like our cars, it can leap over obstacles, such as sidewalk curbs.
