You know once I got older..I stopped caring about what others thought about me cause at my school It was the same schedule..I'd go to school and  sit with my same two friends Kidada and Keisha we would all go to the same school then after school we would go out you know hangout...yes I'm only 16 and.. Age ain't nothin but a number..I always live like a grow up cause no in this world can help me except me..I gotta help myself...yes I'm a foster kid..my parents passed away in a aviation accident...I grew up in a abusive foster home and for some reason the lady would only pick on me.. her name was Ms Riley..she was white so she would throw in racist comments about my hair, my size, how I'm trying to be skinny like a white girl but will always be seen as a monkey..I wasn't having it so one day she was cooking us oatmeal and when she served our bowl she put my bowl down and said "One for the hoodlum" everyone though it was funny considering I was the only black girl in there..So I got mad and lost my temper and threw scorching hot oatmeal at her face and it gave her 3rd degree burns on her face then I was put back into the system for a new home..I'm sorta a quite girl when I'm getting bullied..I would only fight you back if I knew you otherwise then that I'm quiet...I then moved into a new home but this one was different they took me into this court room and had me stand in front of a black judge with short black hair like Toni Braxton

Judge Mablean: Ms Aaliyah Dana Haughton do you know why you are here today

Aaliyah had her arms crossed looking down she looked shy but at the same time like she had a attitude..Aaliyah noded

Aaliyah: cause I'm moving foster homes

Judge Mablean: Not only that Ms Haughton you threw scorching hot Oatmeal into Ms Riley's face..uh Ms Riley are you here today

Ms Riley: Here your honor

Aaliyah turned around to see the skin on Ms Riley's face was red..and it almost made Aaliyah burst out in laughter she looked stupid...and disgusting even the judge and police officers guarding her on the side made eww faces

Judge: oh uh..ehh yes please tell us what happen

Ms Riley steps onto the panel

Ms Riley: I was just feeding Aaliyah and the rest of the kids at breakfast then Aaliyah got mad and threw oatmeal at my face..the doctor said the skin on my face melted off due to the amount of oatmeal And gave me 3rd degree

Judge Mablean: Well there must be a reason why..Ms Haughton anything you need to say

Aaliyah was looking down the whole time

Judge Mablean: Ms Haughton I need a answer sweetheart

Aaliyah shook her head no

Judge Mablean: Very well...um Ms Riley please uh next time if you do come in here I thinks it's best if you uh wear a paper bag with holes cut in for the eyes cause um your face looks like a badly made pepperoni pizza

Aaliyah snickers but quickly stop as Ms Riley sat down upset

Judge Mablean: Alright Ms Haughton I think we might have someone that can take care of you

Aaliyah was put in a holding cell which made her nervous she has never been to jail and was scared who was coming to see her..was it Ms Riley or god knows what then a police officer walks in with a guy who looked older than Aaliyah he looks like one of those guys that shave but you can clearly still see the hair..he was bald but you could see a little of his hair..he wore glasses and a suit as he had a briefcase..as the officer opens the door the man walks in he sits on the over seat connected to the wall as Aaliyah was looking at the floor

Brian: Hi my name is Brian Simmons I work as a attorney and you must be Aaliyah

Aaliyah didn't reply but noded

Aaliyah: So am I going to jail

Brian snickers

Brian: Not necessarily..your going to a new foster home

Aaliyah looks up

Aaliyah: What I don't wanna move schools

Brian: I'm sorry Aaliyah but after what happen at Ms Riley's foster home the judge wanted me to take to a different location and that would make your school a 4 hour drive I'm Sorry

Aaliyah was worried about her only two friends Kidada and Keisha What was they gonna do once Aaliyah was gone

Aaliyah: Okay I'll go but on one condition

Brian: and what is that

*A WEEK LATER*

Aaliyah was packing her bags then a lady walks in..it was Ms Riley

Riley: You just don't care do you

Aaliyah kept packing ignoring

Riley: You are just an annoying little bitch

Aaliyah zips up her bag and turns around

Aaliyah: you know what call me bitch one more time

Ms Riley smiles

Riley: Bitch

Aaliyah: Yep..That's right bitches do what there told

Ms Riley felt stupid for falling for that

Ms Riley: Listen here you little whore

Aaliyah:oh I'm the wore but I'm not the one with used condoms all In my room and condoms in my purse

Ms Riley: What were you doing in my room

Aaliyah: I ain't gotta explain nothing to you but you do gotta explain to the kids in this foster home that I told

Aaliyah says walking away past a bunch of kids crowding me Riley with question and yelling as Aaliyah walked outta the house she sees Mr Brian waiting for her in this BMW

Brian: You ready

Aaliyah smirks and nods as Brian helps her out her suitcase in the trunk then she sees her two Friends Kidada and Keisha walking over to Ms Riley house and she tell Brian to hold on for a second as she runs over to her friends and tells them everything

Kidada and Keisha pull her in for a hug

Kidada: You be safe Li Li

Keisha: Yeah girl we will never forget you okay

Aaliyah was tearing up a little as she nods and Kidada wipes her tears

Kidada: Girl What you crying for..we all gotta be tough for each other okay

Aaliyah nods

Aaliyah: You guys are my best friends and I will never forget you two ever

They all come in for one big hug then Aaliyah hops in the car waving to them all the way til she leaves
