"I love you Carter Vince." Oliva smiled.
"I love you Olivia Eve." I said kissing her lips.
"Are you ready." The memory disappeared. I looked around dazed, and then down at my black suit. I could feel tears filling my eyes up.
"I'll never be ready for this." I choked out.
"I know honey. She loved you so much though." I could feel the tears streaming down my face now. My mom pulled me into a hug, and rubbed my back.
"We'd better get going." My mom whispered into my ear. I nodded and pulled myself from her arms. I followed her, watching the ground as I walked.
When we got to the service, Olivia's mother spotted me right away.
"Carter dear," her raspy voice filled my ears.
"Hello Mrs. Wilson." I could tell she's been crying nonstop.
"It's nice to see you dear."
"You too." I replied.
"Come sit with us." She pleaded. I nodded and followed her. There was more people than I expected at the service. A few kids from school that she barely spoke to, sat in the back. The rest was her family, and mine.
"You're such a weirdo." Olivia giggled in my ear.
"You don't like peanut butter on carrots?" I chuckled. She made a disgusted face.
"No. That's so gross." I puckered my lips at her. She pushed my face away. When she moved her hand, I wrapped my arms around her kissing her.
"You're so gross, now I taste like peanut butter" She laughed. I felt a nudge, cutting any vision of her out of my sight. I looked up at her casket, and then over to the picture they chose to present to everyone. Olivia was the most beautiful thing I've ever laid my eyes on. My turn was coming up. I promised Olivia's mom that I'd speak, but as my turn creeped up, I didn't want to speak. All I wanted to do was crawl up in a ball and cry. When her aunt finished speaking, I slowly rised to my feet. I walked up to the front, touching her casket, and slowly turned towards the crowd. I sucked in some air and then started,
"Let us all take a moment of silence for Olivia. Olivia was always the spark in my life. When I was with her, she made me feel so alive. She made me feel loved in ways no one else could. She was a force, she was beauty, she was smart, she was a gift to the world, she was everything I wanted. Olivia had a heart like no other. I loved her more than I loved anything. I wish I could've been with her at her final moments, talk her out of it, or at least comfort her, and tell her how much I loved her." I started sobbing, "I miss her so much, and I try to figure out why she did what she did, but I can only come up with one answer. Olivia was severely depressed, and none of us tried to help her. I will always love my beautiful angel." I placed my hand on her casket again, as tears rolled down my face. Half of the crowd clapped, and the other half were either quietly sobbing, or crying so hard they gasped for air. Olivia's mom looked like she saw a ghost, but I knew it was because she didn't get Olivia help and I called her out. Her moms always liked me and said I was the 'one' for her daughter, and I've always thought her daughter was the one for me. When I reached my seat, Mrs. Wilson grabbed my hand, and told me everything would be fine with her eyes. My family and I followed the Wilsons out to their car.
"I think she would have wanted you to have this." She said handing me a book.
"Olivia had a diary?" I asked.
"Yes, a lot of it's about you. I think you should read it."
"I don't think I can read it." I said shaking my head.
