For the last 3 days of summer break all I did was sleep & spend time with Chase. Oh & avoid Allison...I still haven't been home or talked to my mother even once yet.

I woke up at 6:30 to start getting ready for my first day of my senior year. I curled my hair really nicely & put on some natural makeup. I wanted to make a good first impression. I put on alot of cover up though, trying to hide the scars & bruises that still lingered.

I wore khaki pants & a hot pink polo with a grey cardigan covering it & I slipped into grey matching flats. I wanted to be covered up. I figured I'd just tell everyone I was cold.

"You're coming today?" Austin asked with a shocked look on his face.

"Absolutely. I want this year to be normal." We both went on getting ready. I didn't understand why he questioned me, if he was going why wouldn't I be? I left early cause my guidance counselor called me to come in to talk before classes start.

I talked with her for awhile, she didn't let me leave til almost the end of first period. It was pretty annoying. I'm sick of everyone asking if I'm okay. I'm fine.

I walked into my class, everyone just stared. I talked to my teacher & sat down quickly. I started pretending to read my book. "That's the girl..." I heard someone whisper. "She was in the accident with that Emma chick & Austin!" I was started to get fed up, but the bell rang.

I walked into the hallway after everyone & stuck right to my schedule, I didn't want distractions. I had an okay day, I guess. Everyone was pretty quiet around me. I ran over to my locker before lunch to grab some books.

"Hey beautiful." Chase said to me smiling.

"Hi." I replied quietly.

"You have lunch now?"

"Yeah, you too?"

"Yup, sit with me!" I could tell he held back a minor laugh.

We walked down to the cafeteria, he kept messing around. He grabbed my books from me. "I got them." He smiled. I smirked at him trying not to blush. My heart raced Every time I was around him. I just  wasn't in the mood to eat, I still didn't feel to great. I walked up with him & bought a cold water hoping it might help my headache. We sat down with a bunch of his friends & of course Austin. Thank god he was in our lunch.

"Bab- ahh... Shae, where's your next class?" Chase tried playing off the name.

"Babe!? Hey now kiddos." Austin winked, teased Chase. Both of our faces got all red, we looked up & smiled at each other.

"It's ah, down stairs. I have study."

"Me too," he grinned. I couldn't of been happier. We got up about to start walking but Mrs. Jones, my guidance counselor, called me to her office.

"I'll meet you." I tried smiling, but I failed.

She just handed me a ton of papers & brochures to try & help me "grieve" I don't need this. I said "thanks" smarty & walked out. I walked down to my study & I couldn't even believe it, was my head screwing with me?

Allison. That skank! She was all over Chase, he was laughing too...no. This can't be happening. I walked in & sat next to them.

"Finally! Keeping me waiting, geez!" He joked.

"Sorry babe." I winked at him, trying to make a point to her. She just rolled her eyes & turned around. Chase smirked at me.

"Jealous?" He whispered.
