Chapter 1

~Xiao Zhan's POV~

"Xiao Zhan wake up its time for school!" I heard my mum shout next to my ear making me jump up, wide-eyed and scowling at my mum. "What's with that face? Do you want to be late for school on your first day back?" She asked shaking her head at me before walking out, shouting out a quick "breakfast is almost ready, be quick!" and closing my door. I grabbed my phone to be welcomed by many notifications from either twitter, Instagram and the group chat I was in;

Xiao Wu: I'm not even in school yet and I'm already dead

Guang Guang: that's a mood

Guang Guang: also same

Huan Huan: Yo where's Zhan Zhan?

Xiao Wu: Bet he's still sleeping

Guang Guang: Always rely on Zhan Zhan to sleep in on the first day *sigh*

Xiao Wu: Did you just sigh over text??

Guang Guang: And what about it?

Xiao Wu: You are a strange child Guang Guang

I sighed and chuckled at my friends, it's funny how well they know me.

Zhan Zhan: I'm alive

Zhan Zhan: I think

Xiao Wu: Am I seeing things? Is the great Zhan Zhan actually awake on time?

Zhan Zhan: Yes I'm awake on time >_> thank my mum for that

Xiao Wu: Well I will make sure to thank her when I go pick you up

Huan Huan: You guys are walking to school together again?

Zhan Zhan: Sadly...

Xiao Wu: Oi! You love walking to school with me!

Zhan Zhan: Wrong my mum loves me walking to school with you

Xiao Wu: Well it's not my fault you fall over every five seconds, you clumsy ass

Guang Guang: Zhan Zhan! You're awake! Sorry I had to go brush my teeth hehe

Zhan Zhan: Morning Guang Guang! uwu

Xiao Wu: Yes you are

Huan Huan: Yes you are

Guang Guang: Yes you are

Zhan Zhan: wow..... anygay I have to go get ready before my mum starts shouting again >_>

Xiao Wu: Make sure you're ready before I get there!

Zhan Zhan: Yes yes, whatever

Guang Guang: See you later Zhan Zhan uwu

Huan Huan: Bye bye

I placed my phone back on my nightstand before getting up to take a quick shower. When I was done I spent almost ten minutes trying to pick something to wear before settling on black ripped jeans and a black hoodie with bunny ears, I wouldn't admit it to anyone but it was one of my favorite hoodies. Walking back to my bathroom I looked into the mirror and sighed at my messy appearance, I took a second to fix my hair noticing how it was still a bit damp but still manageable, I then reached for my makeup which I bought with Jiacheng a while back. I didn't put on much makeup; only some soft brown eye-shadow and a tad of lip tint. When I was done I walked out of the bathroom, grabbed my bag, and began walking down the stairs to the kitchen where my mum was just finishing making breakfast. "Good you're just in time" she smiled at me as I sat down at the table while waiting I decided to message my friends;

Zhan Zhan: I just remembered that there will be new kids coming today

Zhan Zhan: My peaceful life is ruined

Huan Huan: It's not that bad Zhan Zhan XD

Zhan Zhan: It is! I can already see all of the "cool" kids acting like they own the place

Guang Guang: Don't worry Zhan Zhan! I'm sure they won't be that bad!

Zhan Zhan: uwu Guang Guang when you say it I have no choice but believe it

Xiao Wu: WHIPPED

Zhan Zhan: Shut up

Xiao Wu: Make me

Zhan Zhan: One sec just telling my mum to not leave you any food today

Xiao Wu: IM SORRY PLEASE LEAVE ME SOME FOOD YOUR MUMS FOOD IS THE BEST

Zhan Zhan: That's what I thought

Guang Guang: wow

Huan Huan: Damn I need to try your mums cooking if it's that good lol

Zhan Zhan: Come round with Jiacheng today if you want

Zhan Zhan: Guang Guang you can come too uwu

Guang Guang: Yay!

Huan Huan: Right guys I have to go, see you later

Xiao Wu: Byeee

Guang Guang: Bye-bye, I need to leave too, see you in school

Zhan Zhan: uwu bye~

Xiao Wu: Zhan Zhan I'm on my way, be ready or I'm kicking your ass

Zhan Zhan: welp you can join us for breakfast if you're here quick enough

Xiao Wu: IM RUNNING

I laughed, placing my phone onto the table, my mum turned to me with a questioning look, "Jiacheng is running here" she laughed and placed a plate of food in front of me before going to get her own and an extra plate. We were eating quietly when the door shot open revealing an out of breath Jiacheng, I stared at him before bursting out laughing and calling him over. He sat down happily next to me and ate his food quickly, almost choking at one point.
