1. understand:
try to understand why they don't want to be with you anymore. you can't force someone to be with you, the truth is harsh but maybe they just don't like you and that's okay. it's hard
2. acceptance:
once you have tried your best to "understand", you have to move on. don't text them, don't text them back, don't become friends again, you'll catch feelings and it'll take you longer to move on.
3. moving on:
NO REBOUNDS. your friends might tell you to find a distraction, but you'll end up feeling like shit. and plus, you're using someone else's affection to get over your ex and tbh it could b hurtful in some way. instead, you need to love YOURSELF. yeah yeah it might sound tacky but you have no idea, once you love yourself, you won't feel the need to depend on anyone. everyone should be independent, find their own happiness rather than harvest it from another person.
4. treat yourself:
have a self care day: do face masks, take a nice bath, bake something nice, endless things to do. you deserve a day all to yourself.
and that's a way to do it!
