Confusion

Chapter 1.

Woke up feeling lost and confused. The room is dark. I hear someone coming, I go under the covers and pretend I'm sleeping. The creaking of the stairs is getting louder and louder while heartbeat is racing so fast that I start to block out the creaking and just focus on my breathing. After a second passes, the creaking stops. I pull the covers off me to see if the person went away. I pull the covers off and I see a little boy standing at the end of my bed he looks familiar but I can't remember who he is.

(Dialogue starts):

Little boy: "Hi Mac how are you"

Grae: "How do you know me and who are you?"

Little boy: "You're my sister and I'm Oliver but you call me Olly"

Grae: "ohh hi Olly where's your mom and dad?"

Olly: "you mean our mom and dad?

Grae: "Sure yeah"

Grae: "by the way how old am I and how old are you"

Olly: "I am 7 and you're 18"

Grae: "wait I'm 18"

Olly: "yes you are"

(Dialogue ends)

Olly brings me up the creaking stairs and opens the door and a beam of light comes shining through the windows. I rub my eyes and I see furniture like couches and small tables. Olly drags me to his room and grabs a bag. I ask him why is he grabbing a bag and he said we have to get out of here.

(Dialogue starts)

Grae: "Olly what do you mean we have to leave"

Olly: "they are coming back very soon and they are to kidnap us and make us slaves"

Grae: "What do you mean they are gonna kidnap and make us slaves?"

I go back in the basement and find the light to turn it on once I do I look around the room and see what's in the room. It looks like a bedroom. I walk around and see if I can find a phone or something. I finally find a phone and turned it on, I hear someone coming I put the phone the pillow and sit on the bed. I see a face appear and I recognize its just Olly. I hear a ding from the pillow. I grab the phone and see there is a message notification from someone by the name "lena" with the words next to it in parenthesis "(sis)".

(Dialogue starts)

Grae: "Olly do you know anyone by the name lena?"

Olly: "Yes, that's your best friend who lives down the street from us"

Grae: "Oh okay thanks"

(Dialogue ends)

My head starts to pound really bad like a migraine. Olly asks me if I'm okay and I told him to go finish packing and I'll be fine and do the same. I find a bag after looking for one for what felt like hours. I go through my drawers and closet to see what clothes I wear, twenty minutes go by and I hear a door open it sounds like it's coming from upstairs.  I go upstairs and see a man in the kitchen putting groceries away. He looks oddly familiar but can't remember anything. Olly comes out from his room and greets the man. The man picks up Olly and tickles him just having fun with him. I thought this man wanted to kidnap us. Is this not the man Olly was talking about? The man puts Olly down and looks up and sees me. We make eye contact. My body is full shock. The memories start flooding back in my brain. I know who this man is and he's a monster for what he's done.

(Dialogue starts)

The man: "sweetie are you okay, how was your nap?"

Grae: "don't call me sweetie, and why are you here?"

The man: "I will call you whatever I want little bitch"

The man grabs me by the hair and throws me on the ground and starts to kick me. I hear Olly screaming and crying telling him to stop but he just kicks harder. I blacked out. I feel my body being lifted off the ground into someone's arms. The person lays me on a soft piece of something. I open my eyes a little bit and look around and see couches and lamps. I turn over and see the man tying me to a small desk. I kick him in the face and try to untie my hands, the man gets up the floor and punches my leg. I'm tossing and turning making it hard for him not tie me to this piece of furniture.

Hours go by and all I've been hearing is screaming, crying and hitting from the other room. Olly tells him to stop but he just keeps going not having a care in the world that he's abusing a child.
