My unknown fate

#1 Welcome to what was my life

Normal people go to school, work, dates, etc. They live because that's all there is to do. Other than die.

My life has been pretty flat out normal. Others would say boring or even robotic. I like that, it's relaxing and there's no stress. I go to school with plenty of friends. Study all night and day to get good grades. I have loving parents with a usual annoying little brother. And No Drama.

Today was supposed to be normal. It is my boyfriend (Jase) and mines 1 year and 3 month anniversary. This morning at school he came up to me and leaned next to my locker trying to look all badass and seriously. Only thing is he's too much of a dork to pull that off. I will admit tho it was cute. After I teased him for it he said he had a surprise for me.

That scares me just a little. Mainly because I don't like surprises. I am way to impatient for those kind of things.

He then gave me a white rose and I just watched him walk out the school while ignoring the yelling school staff. I didn't want to get in trouble only to get killed by my parents. Giving the rose a sniff I just went about my day.

Back to present time, it's 7:30 ish and I'm getting ready in response to a text I received from Jase saying he's gonna be here in 10 minutes. What do guys not understand that a girl needs more that 10 minutes to get ready. It's just no logical.

As I'm doing touches to my make up I here a knock on the door. I open it to someone who I was not expecting.

"Cassy what are you doing here?" I ask my life long best friend as she just casually strolls into the house.

"I wanted to get out of that god damn house that hold a bunch of crazies" she responds describing her wild family.

She is not apart of the most with a normal life, her moms abusive and her dads a drunk causing her two younger brothers to act like maniacs on a constant basis. She's always ran to my house to escape ever since they all started to fall apart.

It all happened 6 years ago. I've always felt bad but always supported her. For years I have been thinking of ways to get her out. From adopting to helping her run away but by the time we schemed, there was way too many flaws and would be to complicated or dangerous.

But now that we are seniors we are reaching the time to move out so we are just gonna wait. Anyways she'll just randomly pop up even if I have something to do. My parents don't mind her staying at our house by her self. They ended up buying her a phone and everything.

I watch her sit on the couch and turn on the TV like it's her own home. "Jase has some sort of surprise for me and is gonna come and pick me up soon" once I said surprise, her face formed the definition of confusion.

"A surprise for what may I ask" I laugh a little at her confusion.

Once she gave me a death glare I decided to reply "Our 1 year and 3 month anniversary he came to school just to tell me he had a surprise and just walked out the door"

"Oh damn it must be something for him to skip school like that both y'all are huge nerds" shock displayed across her face. I just rolled my eyes.

Only seconds later once again there was a knock on the door. As I opened the door there stood my handsome man in a comfortable yet "classy" apparel. He wore khaki shorts with a t-shirt that has the print of a tuxedo.
