LOCAL SERIAL KILLER STILL ON THE LOOSE
The body counts keep rising through the weeks. The mysterious serial killer is still evading capture and on the rise. After weeks of no leads, suspects, or evidence a young man had bravely stepped up after surviving an attack from the killer.
"I woke up from a nightmare," he recounts, "it couldn't have been earlier than 2 am," he continued, "I noticed my curtains moving around after my eyes adjusted to the dark. I thought I had closed the window before bed but I just got up to close it." He told our interviewers, "I got up and shut it. After a quick stretch I got back into bed, that's when I felt a strange shiver travel down my spine. I felt like someone was watching me. I sat up in bed and and glanced around my room. There, lit by my window, was a mangled, insane looking man."
He shook as he recounted the events to our interviewer. The young man continued, "The first thing I saw were his eyes. They were so wide but so dark. Next, as he moved towards me, I saw his mouth. It was cut beyond repair. Bloody, probably infected, and terrifying. Once he was fully lit up in front of me he only stared for a moment. Then, after what felt like a lifetime, the remnants of his lips opened and he spoke. A simple but terrifying phrase."
The young man took a moment to recover after this. He continued to tell us, "He said, 'Go to Sleep.' There was something so.. demented about how he said it. Something so sinister and.. insane. After this I screamed, almost instinctually. This caused the psycho to jump at me. It was only then I noticed the large knife in his hand. I managed to fight him off with kicks and punches. After a moment of struggle my dad rushes into the room. The man then threw the knife at my dad, lodging it in his shoulder. My dad fell to his knees and held his bat. The murderer would've probably finished it off if the police hadn't arrived so shortly. Luckily my neighbor noticed the man sneaking into my window and called the police."
The neighbor was reportedly just arriving home from a trip out of state when he noticed the figure creeping into his neighbor's window. The young man finished by telling our reporter, "The man ran past by dad and ripped the knife out of his shoulder. I heard the sound of glass breaking down my hall and I ran out after him. The window leading to the back of my house was broken and as I got up to it the killer was already running through my back yard. Unfortunately my family lives near the woods so the psycho was able to get away. He vanished into the woods and hasn't been found yet. I'll tell you one thing, I'll never forget that horrible mangled face. Those dark, dead eyes. his disgusting, bloody, psychotic smile. Even his skin looked torn and destroyed, maybe burned? It'll never leave my mind for as long as I live."
The mysterious Killer is still on the loose. Keep your doors and windows locked. Stay in doors at night. Stay safe and keep protection available.
