Chapter 22: Ready as I'll ever be-...

(Small A/N-

So no I didn't name the chapter like this because of the song, This is an actual line someone says in the chapter, And I also really like this song)

Frisk's P.O.V

I looked in front of me seeing Asriel(yes this kinda takes place before the last chapter, but only for a while) fighting Bete Noire

"Asriel leave now!" I said, I couldn't even get up, but better for me to die, then for Asriel too. "Its over..."

"Not Happening!" Asriel yelled back without even looking at me. "Not again..." He said as he ran full speed at Bete Noire. "NO! STOP!!" I yelled out feeling more pain rush in. 

I saw Asriel going in to fight her. I saw her Akumu going after me, I knew this was it. Before I could see what was happening, after a bolt of lightning cut off Akumu. Bete Noire saw that as her chance to attack, but Asriel was to fast for her and stopped her scythe.

"Asriel!" I screamed out

3rd Person P.O.V

Unfortunatly for Frisk, Akumu was ready and launched the spear, going through Asriel. Asriel couldn't even speak his eyes reverted back to normal as he just kept his gaze in front of him

Before anyone said anything a bright Blue thing landed. Frisk, Asriel, And Bete Noire looked over. A girl with (H/L) (H/C) and Bright (E/C) that were alternating from blue to (E/C). As she walked closer with a bright blue flame in her hand as a Akumu similar to Bete Noire was following close behind.

"This ends now!" She yelled out in a powerful voice as she made knifes appear behind her.

(*Cough Cough* ss chara *Cough cough*)

Before (Y/N) even had a chance to attack, she got knocked back beside Frisk. Bete Noire was holding the prince's soul hovering above her hand. Akumu was getting ready

"I'm sorry Frisk, I'm sorry (Y/N)..." The prince said with tears in his eyes. "I guess I really am an idiot..." He said before Akumu took his soul. (Y/N) and Frisk had to watch as their best friend turned to dust.

(Y/N)'s soul went out in front of her, she was staring face to face with her soul, her greatest nightmare was to turn into a something she was not. Who knew she already had. Her soul cracked, with a white line in the middle of it. Her soul turned away from dark blue, and turned grey, before turning golden.

"Good job Kumu, now we just take care of-" (Y/N) was sitting on the ground looking at her old soul, herself glitching from (O/S/N) to (Y/N).

"Whatever the consequences are, for what i'm going to do" Frisk said while a single tear rolled down his cheek, and his bleeding forehead, healed up. All of his wounds were closing up and healing. His sword appearing in his hand 

"LOVE, too, is an acronym, it stands for Level of Violence, a way of measuring someones capacity to hurt, I promise you something, Bete Noire. I will kill you..." Frisk said opening his dark red eyes

(Y/N) got up glitching back and forth, summoning a knife in her hand, her eyes glowing golden. "I'm done being your puppet...You will pay...for killing them"

Bete Noire looked a little frightened, as she backed up a little. "Their determination...suddenly feels different..."

It seemed like it would be an Easy win for (Y/N) and Frisk, but it seemed like Bete Noire had a little trick up her sleeve

"Hey Frisk, (Y/N)!" Bete Noire said before holding out her hand "Mind if I ask for a little HELP? She said as she summoned a monster soul.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

"Doesn't this bring back old memories...?" I looked dead ahead and felt myself start to loose it. "(Y/N)! It's not real, this isn't him" I heard Frisk say

I looked at him with fear in my eyes, "We have to fight back, are you ready!" Frisk yelled to me
