He drew memories in her mind she could not erase
He filled colors in her heart she could not replace
Don't you dare tell her that she'll be fine
She's sick of hoping that you might be right

Pain is never permanent but it's killing her tonight
She has been through a lot... No strength left to fight
A drop in the ocean
A change in the weather
She was stupid, hoping they might end up together

Love is a losing game
One she wishes she never played
She's falling apart, she's barely breathing
With a broken heart that is still beating

Hell sent us a deadly disease, and we humans called it love
And now that she has fallen in it, the Gods are laughing from heavens above

But she took the broken wings and learnt to fly
And now she's in love with being a queen, with standards so high
And now she's sitting pretty on the throne
There is nothing more she wants except to be alone
