He sighed, His breathe white against the cold air. The soldier's paws slid over the trigger, Taking in a deep breathe. 37 stories in the air, The Walther WA 2000 he held, one of 176 ever made, Quite a rare find, Was held steadily in his paws. 1,500 feet away were 2 mercenaries, Hetech Mercenaries. Hetech was notorious for ruthlessly ripping apart settlements and X'ing Scavengers.

Finger on the trigger.
Breathe held.

Two shots tore through the gun, The recoil sending the barrel of his gun up.

"Double kill!" He exclaimed, Quietly of course, though it wouldnt matter, because of the massive Dreadnought bringing darkness to the sky, He turned over onto his back, His heart dropped.

Arien "Aerial" Eshbell, Former Hetech, Now Rogue soldier and scavenger. He pushed himself up onto his feet and looked around, He was on the roof and had to think of a plan. The Dreadnought let out a blood curling Roar, A massive chunk of black and red in the sky, fitted with Fission cannons and Hundreds of Turrets, Some even with Nuclear capabilities. He switched his gaze to other end of the roof. A fallen cable was hanging over two buildings. He ran over to it, Tripping over his own paws occasionally. Aerial picked up the cable and jumped off the building, Rapidly sliding down it as he swung towards the other building. He smashed through a window and tumbled onto the floor before colliding with a wall, knocking him out.

He woke up sometime later, maybe 1 hour, Maybe 2. Aerial put a paw on the ground and pushed himself up, Stumbling. He blinked rapidly as his eye adjusted to the blinding light of day. Around him was the same grey ruins of the building he knew he smashed into, Though the blinding light came from the Dreadnought in the sky, as Darkness had fallen already. He looked around, it seems the room he was in was covered in a thin layer of white paint that was stained red in places, Possibly blood. He sighed and slammed back down onto the floor, Deciding it was a good enough place to sleep as he unhooked any uncomfortable or unnecessary gear. Aerial rolled onto his side and licked his lips, Eventually his eyes closing and giving into sleep.

Aerial woke up for a second time, This time it was pitch black. He pushed himself up to his feet and pressed his pawpads  together. Aerial began on re-attaching his gear, and began talking to himself.

"The only reason a Hetech Dreadnought would be around here is.... if they had a warp gate to one of their command bases! So if i can find the warp gate i could hop through guns blazing and... die, Sadly I treasure my life.. I might be able to detonate any bombs on the ship if it still used a... no.. surely no one uses a pulsewall. Well.. I guess today will be a shitfest."

Aerial stood up and stretched, With no weaponry or training for hand to hand combat he was surely screwed.
But, things Change.
