Serah's POV:
This guy Noel had just come up to me after saving my life, claiming that he had met my sister, Lightning. He'd handed me a bow, which he told me was a gift from her and had brought us both into a fight with some monsters on the beach. We didn't get a chance to talk for a while until the monsters on New Bodhum's beach front were killed, after checking up on the citizens around us.
And everything had happened so fast. After gaining a few treasured items, and seeing a happy Snow, purring and clean, before we left was something I'd never want to forget.

I remember stepping through that first gate, determined to bring my sister home and to prove to everyone she wasn't in the pillar of crystals along with Vanille and Fang; she was with us the entire time, just not where we thought she would be.
"Where do you think we'll end up?" I ask Noel, looking at the scene around us in wonder. It seemed as if it was made of different kinds of material, in a sort of vortex, although it wasn't as violent as I thought it would be. There seemed to be no temperature here, so it was neither hot nor cold. It was a strange feeling, not having something as familiar as temperature surrounding you. Instead it was alien; a place no human should be, or at least not the two of us. Maybe it was a place the the goddess Etro could look into from time to time to see how the world was progressing to its unlikely end?
"I have no idea. Maybe it'll take us right to Lightning. Or maybe we'll end up somewhere far away from her." He shrugged, taking the time to look around for himself.
Noel POV:
Here I was, yet again. Traveling through this...I'm not even what sure of what it is. The space between times? The hell would I know? I realize that I'm definitely more educated on these time gates then Serah, but I don't hold all the answers. I feel like I'm waiting for the day she asks me something I can't answer, not even make an assumption about because I hadn't a clue to pay attention to it.
No one's POV:
A small sigh escapes from the hunter's lips and he turned himself in a circle. There was no concept of gravity here, yet the two of them seemed to be moving forward by an unseen force. Serah opened her mouth to say something, probably along the lines of, "I think we're stuck.", when a bright light flashed in front of them, blinding them temporarily.
Hands in front of their faces to block the light from sneaking back into their eyes and fully blinding themselves, the unknown force continued to push the two into the light, the said light growing brighter with every inch they moved forward until they were inside of it, seemingly vaporized out of existence.
