Draco's Inheritance (Prologue 1)

(Draco POV [obviously])

The 5th of June, nothing special about it. I've never celebrated my birthday, even though mother insisted that I did. I just didn't see a point in it. I'm a year older, so what. Anyway, I was in my room, reading since I couldn't sleep. It was 11:59, one minute until the 'Big Day', when I started to feel a pain all over my back, head, jaw, throat, and hands. I was extremely confused, I wasn't supposed to receive an inheritance. I quickly got up to run to my parents room when suddenly, I collapsed and yelped in pain. Every thing hurt, the previous spots hurting wat worse than anywhere else. I couldn't move. It felt as though I had overworked my muscles past their point and then some more. I began to scream in pain. My mother was the first to come through the door, my father soon after. Mother knelt beside me, "Lucius what's going on, I thought he didn't have any-" "He does, on my side apparently. I must've overlooked it, but there is a demon on my side," My father said, cutting her off. I couldn't see what he was holding but it looked like a black book. My eyes where starting to close, In my last moments of consciousness, I heard my parents arguing, then darkness.

(3rd person)

"wHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S A DEMON ON YOUR SIDE, ARE YOU SAYING HE'S POSSESED?" Narcissa yelled. "No, he is, I'm afraid, an Elemental," Lucius explained calmly. They both looked at their son, now unconscious. "What kind?" asked Narcissa "Poison" Lucius replied, still looking in the book. The title read: The Malfoy Tree.
