I've been tied up all my life,
Got scars but not with the scratches of knife;
I wanna be beautiful and I wanna glow,

I want to be in the spotlight
Although I know I'll have to fight
I love the way other girls are treated
But I am on my knees,
Defeated...
I'll get up soon and strive to success
For then,
None will be able to suppress
I'll strike and strike again,
Until I win...
And the success will show a different glow to my skin
The success will make me beautiful and will make me glow
