harry looked at the clock. 8:57am. that meant only one thing. louis was about to stride in with his charming looks and sass, trying to win harry over.

"good morning sunshine" harry heard as he was wiping down the tables. he smiled to himself before putting on a moody face and turned towards louis.

"again, stop calling me that" harry said, making his way over to the counter. he could see louis' stares at his body, because in fact louis has only ever seen harry's top half.

"woah nice ass, what time does it open?" louis smirked, ignoring the confused stares from other customers. harry shot his head up and glared at louis.

"not funny. plus, keep it down? people don't want to hear your dead pick up lines" harry said.

louis sat on the barstool whilst harry made his coffee. when he came over with it, louis spoke quietly.

"you're right. but you know what i'd rather hear? your mo-" harry smacked his hand to louis' mouth.

"nO. do not go there" much to harry's surprise, louis licked harry's hand causing him to yank it away and wipe it on his apron, muttering 'disgusting'.

"whatever you say, pretty one" louis smiled and harry just shook his head.

louis took a sip from his drink, noticing that harry hadn't written anything.

"no little message today? that's a shame. i always appreciate a little handwritten 'fuck off' on the side of my cup" harry giggled.

louis rested his chin in his hands, leaning on the counter. he kept his gaze on harry whilst he served customers.

"keep looking at me like that and i might fall in love" harry said, drying his hands on a tea towel.

"who's to say you haven't already?" and like always, harry just shook his head.

"you're cute but you're also annoying, therefore i don't like you" louis laughed. harry calling him cute was a first, but even he'll accept annoying as a compliment.

"i'll take it babe. i'll take it" louis said, standing up and walking towards the door.

"bye my love, till next time!" and just like yesterday, harry smiled fondly at the petite boy.

"goodbye you weirdo" louis heard it. louis smiled. louis was happy.
