I cannot believe you once used to be my superstar.

Now I lay numbly in the cold empty bar,

Lighting only cigars,

Playing your favorite song on my guitar,

Waiting for the emptiness to go afar.

I think I've suffered enough for now.

Please don't ask me how!

My wrists can't have one more scar,

I cannot gather enough courage to get run over by a car.

I think it's time for me to move on,

Without you leading me on.

I think it's time for me to go forth,

Without you cutting my wings off.

It's time for me to turn all my frowns, upside down,

'Cause you're nothing but a brown clown,

Get out of my town and let me slip back my crown.

For now I finally know how to shine,

Fakin' a smile and sayin' I am fine,

Will make me reach miles.
