This was the reaction of pretty much the entirety of the New Avengers. (Especially Tony, definitely Tony was the loudest.) Everett Ross had just informed them of the horror that was the Rogues' pardon (no duh) he had sprouted bullshit about them needing to show a "united front" and "that the avengers is a family". As if. All the Rogues were and have continued to be were toxic leeches sucking off his money, home and generosity while cursing him and infecting him with self hatred and insecurities. Opening the wounds from Howard never being pleased.
Tony hated them now, he hadn't been able to tell the weight until it was lifted, he hated Barton's ungratefulness and constant blaming and insults, he hated Romanoff's jabs at his ego while her own was bigger than Stark Towers ARC (Which was where? He thought she was a damn super spy but she was fooled by some masks and defences. Wow!), he hated Wilson's simply blind following, he hated the witch's contempt with anything he simply breathed near, he hated Barne- no, he didn't hate Barnes he understood the lack of control he had, the Barnes was actually a victim but it was still those hands that were around his madre's neck. But no words could describe the loathing he felt for Rogers' EVERYTHING.
