Chapter 1

Diamond POV

"Ugh job hunting is so tiring" I sighed out loud

It's Saturday and I'm spending it job hunting. I've looked everywhere for a job and no one is hiring except fast food. I refuse to work at a fast food place, do you see the shoes and outfits they wear that is so tacky. 

*Knock Knock *

I heard someone knock on the door but I did not feel like getting it. Remembering my mom is at work so I had to open it. I got up with all of the strength in me I opened the door and nearly got knocked down by my best friend Kayla. 

"Dang girl what took you so long to open the door" She said smiling

" I'm tried from job hunting but why you got that big ass Koolaid smile on your face " I questioned her

"So I think I found you a job " She clasped her hands together

"Doing what and where" I side-eyed her

"Well it's a maid job at my brother's friends crib I figured you like to clean so why not" She said with cheerful eyes

"No, you know that I can't stand his friends " I walked away from her

"You need the money, he pays 500 a night, he got this big ass house, and his names Yungin " I stopped in my tracks

"Well okay when do I start" I said eager for the money

"Now! We have to go to his house for a quick interview so go get pretty " She smiled

Not too long later I got out the shower putting on my VS lotion and perfume. Slipping on a white V-neck shirt and a pair of light wash bleached shorts with my white sandals. I did my hair in a quick bun. Adding my necklace and diamond studded earrings to complete my look.

I went to the restroom and put on some mascara and lip gloss. When I finished I grabbed my sunglasses and phone. I flicked off my light making my way to the living room.

"Yeah we coming" Kayla said on the phone

"Yeah she will be perfect for the job any way she needs the money so bye we on our way" She stated then hung up

"Who were you on the phone with." I said being nosey

"My big-headed brother " She rolled her eyes

After a 30 minute drive, we pulled up to this big ass house. I felt so tiny when I looked up at it. We rang the doorbell and Kayla's brother Quan opened the door.

"Hey Quan" I said as I hugged him

"Hey Diamond what you been up to" He said as we pulled away from the hug

"Nun job hunting" I let out a sigh

"Well you have come to the right place follow me please" He said trying to be funny

"Boy stop you to hood to talk proper" I laughed at him

"Aye let me talk to you right quick" Kayla said as she grabbed my arm

" Yeah" I questioned

"Okay when I tell you this don't get upset okay" I looked at her crazy

"Depends on what it is Kay don't make me mad now you know I have a short temper" I said already kinda irratated

"Ok so I didn't tell you a few things about the job and Yungin " She said slowly

"You starting to make me mad so hurry up and tell me before I go off" I said growing impatient

"Ok so the job requires a live-in maid and he is a drug dealer " She said fast but I caught on

I just looked at her with a straight face

"Say something" She pleaded

"Why should I" I said with attitude clear in my voice

" Because you love me and because you need the money and he is fine girl" She said trying to make it sound better

I tried not to laugh but I let it slip

" I knew you wouldn't stay mad at me forever" She thought

" Nah Kay I'm still mad but you know my moms not going to let me live with a random man " I told her getting ready to walk away

"Yeah I know but we can talk to him and get some arrangement or something " She grabbed my hand

"Ok " I gave in

"Wait you don't care about him being a drug dealer" She questioned

"No did you forget who my father is" I asked her

"Oh yeah ok let's meet him then" She said after her little blonde moment

When I walked inside the living room I saw another guy in the room sitting beside Quan who I'm guessing is Yungin. I couldn't help to think to myself that Kayla wasn't lying he is cute.
