Part 6: sleepover

      Vanessa's POV:
  Once Cami than left I went and sat next to Mads. Mads seemed happy which i was really glad to see her happy. I absolutely hate it when shes sad it makes me sad and I don't like that. "Do you already have your things packed" I said looking over at Mads who than looked me in the eye. "No after you left Cami rushed over here because she thought she was gonna be late and all she kept saying 'no no no vanessaaaa' which made no sense to me but now it does" she said with a smile. I than began to laugh because how cute Cami is. "She's so adorable" I said looking down laughing. We than began catching up until finally Charles came out, I was exited but also very very nervous. "Hey baby" He said coming out of the room. "Baby?!" I said very concerned, I really didn't like the fact he was under pain and that I wasn't with him. I ran over to him giving him a big kiss. "Are you okay?" I say rubbing my palm against his jawline. He than grins "baby I'm fine it wasn't to bad" I could tell he didn't mean that and was just saying it to act tuff but trust me he's not, he's such a softy but no one knows that except me. "Can I see it?" I asked pointing to the wrap that was popping out under his shirt. "I have a picture here" he said handing me his phone with a picture of my name in cursive with a butterfly next to it. "Baby it looks so good" I said squealing giving him a kiss.
      "Ready to leave?" He asked with his hands on my waist with my hands around his neck. "We have to wait for Cami she getting the tattoo!" I said very exited. "Wow that girl will do anything for you, and she absolutely hates tattoos" he said laughing. "And that's why her and I are best friends" I said giggling. I than grabbed his hand leading him to sit, I didn't see Mads anywhere and if I'm being honest I forgot she was here. After about 10 minutes Cami came out with watery eyes.
      Madelaines POV:
  Vanessa was all over Charles while I sat there hopelessly in love with my best friend. But I noticed on her middle finger she was wearing our matching Cartier rings which gave me hope. The second she kissed him I ran out of the parlor and stood outside for about 10 minutes trying to not think about Nessa but again she is all I think about so it was very difficult. I took three deep breathes and walked inside to where I saw Cami and Vanessa hugging and cami was crying. Vanessa pulled out of the hug wiping away the tears under Cami's eyes. "Your so brave for doing that just for me Camz, it means a lot to me you did this it really does." Vanessa said pulling her into another hug. "It didn't hurt as much as that one time we used the peel face mask right?" Vanessa said laughing. Cami then began laughing "ah V you always know how to make me feel better, I love you." "And I love you more love" Vanessa said giving cami a kiss on the cheek. It hurt watching this, that could be me she's saying wonderful things to, but no. She doesn't even notice I'm here god I'm just so in love with her that it's ruining me and her friendship. I want to tell her how I feel but I know it'll make matters worst. I don't want to go another day without her beside me but as long as these feelings for her are still here there never going away. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Vanessa calling for me. "Hey ready Mads?" I than nodded "yeah" we said our goodbyes to cami and Charles and got into the car to head to Vanessa while Charles was staying over at Kj's.
    No ones POV:
On the ride to Vanessa home it was silent with not even music playing. Vanessa knew something was up with Mads but she wanted to just make her old bestie happy and not bring it up. Vanessa didn't really know how to act around Mads again because once Mads returned all these feeling Vanessa had for Mads came rushing back. Vanessa always got this weird feeling in her stomach when Mads was around and whenever Mads genuinely smiled Vanessa couldn't help but want to watch that smile for the rest of her life. Vanessa was confused on what was going on with her she had an incredible fiancé and amazing best friend to talk to but Mads....it was different with her. Mads had Vanessa feel a different type a way no other person has. Vanessa was so zoned out in her thoughts she didn't realize she was stopped in the middle of the road with a sleeping Mads next to her. Once they arrived at Vanessa house Vanessa didn't want to wake Mads up so she put her pursue on and went to Mads gently picking her up.
    Vanessa's POV:
  I definitely didn't want to wake Mads up from her sleep because she's so adorable when she sleeps, shes honestly the cutest person when she sleeps. So I picked her up gently and shut the door trying my best to not be loud. The door shut very loud which made Mads jump and than me and her made eye contact which calmed her down. "Hey sleepy head" I said to a half asleep Mads. "Hey Nessa" She said very tired. She was in my arms bridal style and than she wrapped her arms around my neck putting her head in the crook of my neck. " I missed you" She said still half asleep. "Your so cute when your tired" I said walking to an elevator to head to my apartment. "You missed me right?" She said in a cute little voice. This girl really is the cutest isn't she?! Ahh i don't know how I went so long without her. "Nessa" She said looking up at me. "Mads that was a stupid question I giggled entering the elevator. "How so?" She said laying back in the crook of my neck. "The second you leave me I miss you even if it's only for a couple of seconds now imagine that times 1 billion that's how I felt over these years" I said very happy and sad. I still didn't and don't understand why she left,she was the most important person in my life she still is and than she up and left which hurt for so long. I than feel Mads getting out of my arms and I realized the elevator stopped we walked to my apartment door while I grabbed my key out. "I'm sorry" Mads said looking down at the floor. "For what" I said grabbing her hand. "I left you without an explanation and now all of a sudden I'm back in your life and you probably don't know exactly what to do" Mads said letting a tear fall. I wiped the tear away "Mads I love you and no matter what I'm by your side right?" I said lifting up my middle finger up to show my Cartier ring. Mads than giggled "that was cheesy...but cute" she said as I let out a giggle. "Now how about we head inside and watch Netflix just like old times" Mads than nodded her head. I went to the bathroom while Mads picked a movie and all I could think about was how and why did I already miss Mads she only 20 feet away from me and I already miss her. All these feeling for her are coming back and I thought I stopped liking her once I left but I still like her and I don't know what to do because she doesn't feel the same way. "Nessa hurry I already miss you" Mads screamed at me. I giggled god she's even reading my mind, she's the absolute cutest when she does that. I smiled leaving the bathroom.
     Madelaines POV:
  Vanessa went to the bathroom and I already missed her that's how strong my feelings are for her but she's getting married she's in love with Charles. I knew I had to tell her my feelings tonight because I'm tired of bottling them up like this. But right now I wanted to cuddle her. "Nessa hurry I already miss you" I screamed a couple seconds later I heard the door open and all of a sudden I feel Vanessa jump on top of kissing me all over my face. I have to admit it felt good and it was absolutely adorable. She than began tickling me, "Nessa!!" I screamed while laughing. She than stopped "your adorable when your being tickled" she said giggling. "Yeah yeah yeah now can we cuddle?" I said sticking my bottom lip out. "In  just a second cutie let me get us some tea" she than got up and I couldn't help but blush whatever that was, was the best moment of my life. I just wish I could have the moments with her all the time and call her mine maybe she has feeling for me? No she can't she's engaged! Vanessa than came back setting our tea on the coffee table she sat down beside me which I got really sad about because I wanted to cuddle but I swear this girl can read my mind. She looked at me and smirked "alright come on cutie" she said sticking her arms out so I could lay on top of her. I rested my head on her chest one hand under her body and the other hand over her waist and we both tangled our legs together. Vanessa than rested her arm around me rubbing my arm and her other hand on my hand which was on her waist. We were watching pretty little liars we loved watching it together, it was only 10 and I was feeling very tired so I took a nap.
    Vanessa POV:
  This sleepover probably wasn't the best idea because of me having all these feeling for her coming back and I'm engaged I can't feel for someone else especially my best friend. I really like Mads but I needed to snap out of it because she'd never see me that way plus I have a good guy I can't lose that. While watching the movie I noticed Mads was asleep I kissed her head "I love you Madelaine Pestch never forgot that" I than fell asleep until Mads woke me up. "Nessa...nessa" I hummed once I heard her not opening my eyes. She was sitting up beside me and I had a bad feeling so I opened my eyes and saw that she was crying. "Mads what's wrong?" I said sitting up immediately. "I'm sorry Nessa but I need to tell you something and I don't want to say it but I need to" She said looking down at her Cartier ring. "Mads what's going on?" I said grabbing her hand and she than pulled away and stood up and started pacing. "Mads hey calm down just tell me what's on your mind" I said standing up and holding her shoulders to try and calm her down. "I..." Mads said looking down letting tears fall. I wiped them away "Mads if your not ready you don't need to tell me okay?" I said giving her a hug and she pulled away. We looked at each other only inches apart from our lips touching. All of sudden Mads leaned in and I pulled away. It felt right but I was in shock of what had just happened. Mads than began to take off until I grabbed her wrist and pulled her back to me. I pressed my lips against her slowly. She than began moving her lips with mine. The second our lips touched I felt a spark I knew that this girl was the one thing that I need to be genuinely happy.

I'm sorry for not posting at all recently and usually I'm good at posting almost every day but I'm on vacation and I'm with family so I've been busy but I still will be trying my best to update at least twice a week. Hope you enjoyed the story and thank you so much for 300 views already!:)
