They say you never really appreciate what you have until it's gone...

It's part of what we are as human beings...

that we are used to take things for granted without even noticing...

until one day we lose those things ...

those people...

and we finally realize ...

that maybe we were wrong all along ...

maybe we should have seized that moment ...

spent more time with those we loved ...

told them how much we loved them...

how much we appreciated them...

instead we waste our time on things which are less important, if important at all...

or fighting with those we care about over trivial stuff...

We waste it all being angry...at everyone... everything and most of all ...ourselves

But I guess that's now is considered a bonus

So here I was , a few weeks since the dead started coming back to life, wandering through the forest, having a moment of peace for the first time in months, allowing me to admire the beauty of nature or at least what was left of it, such a moment was a rare and hard thing to come across nowadays, considering one would always be surrounded with the growls of the undead or the screams of the few who struggled to survive including myself ... surviving that what everyone seems to do all the time ... the blood and the corps are a common scene nowadays, so it was hard to actually see any beauty in this new world, yet here I was enjoying the glimpse I got from it as I felt the warm breath of air touching my skin , my mind swam through a sea of thoughts , how I made it this long is still beyond me, I never expected I would last this long and whether it was a curse or a gift, I have yet to know , but I guess this is what I am supposed to do, keep on fighting, but to what end, tha...
