I've tried trusting people, I want to believe in people but sometimes I can't
I may forgive someone, I may even be their friend again, but I won't trust them again.
I need a reason to believe you when want me to trust you again,
If I don't get that reason then you don't get my trust. It's as simple as that.
I know I seem cold and mean but too many times I was lied to.
Too many times you gave me reasons to doubt you, so over time I did.
I want to be your friend, I want to be there for you, but I will never trust you.
Until you step up and show me, don't give me a soulless "you'll have to wait and see" or "give me more time"

actually show me that I can trust you. Actions will ALWAYS speak louder than words.
