Chapter 2 The Hybrid

Elena walks into Damon's room to see Christina still asleep but Damon sitting in a chair watching over her until he heard Elena

"Theon called me he told me what Stefan did" replied Elena "why didn't you tell me"

"Happy birthday Elena, Stefan killed Andie" said Damon

"He called me Damon" answered Elena

"What?" questioned Damon

"Stefan called me last night" answered Elena

"What did he say?" asked Damon

" He didn't say anything, but it was him. I asked Sheriff Forbes if she would trace the call's origin. It came from Tennessee" explained Elena

"Where he's binge drinking on the country folk. We went through this, Elena. Stefan's gone. I don't mean geographically" replied Damon

"if he was gone he wouldn't have called" said Elena

Elena walks away. However, Elena and Alaric go to the Smoky mountains

"In a couple hours, the full moon's going to rise just above that ridge. If Tyler's right, that's where the pack will be" explained Alaric

Alaric opens his bag full of weapons

"You came prepared" replied Elena

Damon pushed Elena into the water

"Damon how did you know we were here?" asked Elena

"Thanks to the tip brother" said Damon

"You sold me out" shouted Elena

"You think I'd take you to a mountain range of werewolves on a full moon without backup?" questioned Alaric

Elena climbs out the water

"Go home" ordered Damon

"No" answered Elena "we got to find him Damon not for me for Chris"

"Fine" grumbled Damon

Suddenly, they were splashed as Christina's head popped out the water as she saw Damon, Alaric and Elena wet, she burst into laughter

"What are you doing here?" asked Damon

"I came to find Stefan with you guys" answered Christina "Don't worry Theo drove me here"

"Theo" said Damon "he was meant to keep you at home"

"You lied to us" said Theo

"Yes because this is dangerous Theon for you and Chrissy" replied Damon

"You still lied" yelled Theon

"Look boys either way I am coming" answered Christina "I don't take no for an answer"

"Yeah I learned that hard way 1998 I told you to hand me the control over but you said no and ran off with the control" explained Damon

"That was hilarious" chuckled Christina

They walked through the woods, they carried on walking as Christina stepped in something as she stops to check her shoes

"Ew I stepped in poo" screamed Christina "Theo can you go in my bag and get me my spare trainers please baby"

"Sure babe" replied Theon

Theon goes in the bag and pulls Christina's trainers out, Christina sits down and takes her old trainers of throwing them away as she gets into her other trainers

"We got a mile to go" replied Alaric

"And the sun is setting" answered Damon

"I can see that Damon" snapped Elena
