The first thing Ashton did in the morning was take a bag of his favorite drug and place it in the glass fixture that he didn't bother to hide. "Need a light?" Jackie, the only girl in the group, questioned. He just nodded and took it from her, wishing she wasn't in his room all the damn time. "Oh shut it, I know you want me here. It's just a matter of time before they find you. I'm here to protect you" Her short, spiked, black hair waved in front of her forehead. "Listen to me" Ash glanced at her but quickly drew himself away from the scene. "Get out, I need to shower" He sleepily pointed towards the door with his left hand and rubbed his eyes with the right. Sometimes he'd just wish that this was all a nightmare but he couldn't ever show that side of him around town. No one would be intimidated by him, then. Ash couldn't take meds because his parents wouldn't sign the stupid papers for receiving medication. Ashton was stuck. Stuck in a world he was forced to live in. Trapped by the voices in his head and for right now? He was perfectly fine with it. His fingers roamed through the wet hair on top of his head and put it against the decaying shower wall. The dark tattoos shown on Ash's forearms reminded him of his past and how he didn't need to be afraid of himself back then like he does now.
"I'm going out" Ash never said he was going to school because that just seemed like a joke whenever he told someone. There was a reason he was going but it wasn't a very good one to say the least. Nobody replied to his comment of course.
