billy:
it's either his dad, or his mom. you call him every night and ask if he needs to stay over, he does, a lot. your parents don't care because they're gone most the time. you comfort him by hugs, kisses, cuddles, and movies, he loves it.
you:
you worry about him, you know his father is an asshole, you know he beats him. you hate it, so you call him every night to check on him.

steve:
he's sad about you. he's sad when he's not with you, he worries so much he can't sleep. he sneaks in your window every night because of the events with the upside down. he makes sure nothing even happens to you.
you:
your mom. she never pays attention to you, she drinks a lot too. she sometimes ends up hitting you, but it's mostly all words. you end up sneaking to his house a lot.

jonathan:
his brother. he cares dearly for him, he's been through so much. you're always by his side cheering him up, he loves it.
you:
you've had trouble with depression. you never really know why you're sad, it's just there. he always tells you he loves you, and he's always there.
