💫4 ~ sort of a date

~Kirishima P.O.V~

I woke up to the sound of the alarm. I sprung up and check the time. "Phew, thought I was late," It was 4pm now, I should probably start changing. I placed out a causal outfit since it was nothing special and I don't wanna look like I'm trying to impress her.

It took me just 15 minutes to get ready without trying too hard of course. I checked the time again, and it was only 4.30pm. "Well, I guess I'll be there earlier, maybe I could go buy something for her there," I mumbled to myself trying to recollect words from what I said earlier on.

~Mina P.O.V~

"AHHH SHIT!" I accidentally tripped on the pile of clothes on the floor. "Dang, what a mess..." I should probably start cleaning up. 'Hmm but what should I wear?' I wondered, I couldn't pick an outfit and that's filling my head with more and more thoughts.

I feel like I was gonna be late sooner or later. I wasn't good at picking outfits nor a designer, but I tried to match up an outfit for me.

~Kirishima P.O.V~

I took a bus there because I wouldn't want to walk 15km. Yeah I know it's a long trip there but at least I spend some time on the bus instead of wasting my time doing nothing. When I first reached the park, those big bold words was what I caught sight of first.

"Aunt Mary's Ice Cream Shop" I read out the shop's name. Seems familiar to me, memories suddenly flooded my mind. "KIRI COME BACK HEREEE AHH, BUY ME ICE CREAM IDIOT!" I blinked again and again. "Mina was my childhood best friend?" I asked myself trying to remember the times where me and Mina hang out back than.

So I thought for awhile and yes definitely, Mina is my childhood best friend and I didn't even remember it at all. I remember that this ice cream shop was out favourite one and we would always go there after a day of fun.

I decided that I shall wait for Mina to come before I buy her I've cream. "Mina did love Cookies and Cream ice cream if I didn't forget, did I?" I asked myself repeatedly. Well I sort of remember but who knows she might not like it now. I than checked my phone, 5pm, hmm seems like there's another hour.

~Mina P.O.V~

I struggled wearing my hoodie on as I was literally trying to balance wearing my jeans. The floor is still yet to be cleaned and piles of clothes were like a mountains. "Oh my gosh, it's already 5pm! What the frick!" I shouted at the sight of the time shown on my phone.

I was all ready till 5.30pm and yes I took almost 20 minutes to clean up the fricken mess. Since my house is near the park, I didn't have to worry about being late. It only took me 10 minutes to walk to there.

"KIRI, OVER HERE!" I screamed my lungs out when I saw that red-headed boy. He looked around searching for me but I took this chance to scare him by tapping on his shoulder. "AHH FOR GOD SAKE!" He tried to calm down.

"HAH! Your reaction is priceless!" I pointed at him sticking my tongue out. "Well, I guess since your here wanna go grab some ice cream?" I immediately thought of my favourite ice cream flavour. "You mean Cookies and Cream?" I put my hands together showing him my puppy face.

"Ah-h y-yes of course!" His face buried in his hands completely. "Hehe well let's go!"

~Kirishima P.O.V~

Should I tell her about it? I knew she liked Cookies and Cream but does she know that I'm her childhood best friend? I decided that maybe instead of bottling my thoughts up, I should tell her.

"Hey Mina," I started. "Yes?" She answered back. "Ya see, actually I just realized that you were my childhood best friend..." I went from loud to soft. I was trying to put together the words forming an explanation. "Wait, for real Kiri?" She asked confused still scratching her pink fluffy hair. "Well yes, remember Aunt Mary's Ice Cream Shop?" I asked hoping she could gain some memories about it.

"Aunt Mary's Ice Cream Shop, wait, yes, YES YES!" She shouted immediately hugging me. "So you remember now?" I asked her once again. "YES! KIRI I REMEMBER YOU BACK THAN!" She excitedly jumped up and down crying tears of joy. "You don't know how much I miss you, I mean I don't know why but it's just that we were separated in elementary school and I just miss you so much!" She babbled everything and was happy as ever.

"Well, since we are in the same class and school, wanna hangout often?" I smiled. "Obviously crackhead, I didn't even notice, but why did you dye your hair to red and make it all spikey?" I sighed, I looked at her and my smile disappeared. "It's okay if you don't wanna share it, I just wanna know," she scratched the back of her head and put a light smile to her face.

"It's okay, I guess I have to tell you too. Well, I actually look up to you ever since little, ya see I thought I was the boring ass person who is dull and has no emotions. But seeing that you have those eye-catching features, your quirk was incredibly amazing and I wanted to stand out too just like you so I turned myself to a more vibrant person." I took a glance at Mina and she fidgeted with her fingers.

"Actually, I thought I was the one who was an attention seeker..." She looked down to the floor. I put my hand on her shoulder, "No you were never one, c'mon cheer up, you put a smile to everyone's faces ya know that?" She looked at me with her golden and black eyes.

"Hey let's go grab some ice cream! don't worry, we'll meet up tomorrow!" She smiled and replied, "Ya know what I used to call each other?" I made a gesture showing her I was confused. "Horn buddies ya know?" I looked up and said, "Definitely you know it!"
